FYI, i dont know what kind of fuel you have. but i have an updated tune file that helped the low mid end pinging on 91.

You goy that right, i took the off the hood, grille, and lower grille mount. I took out the air box along with the windshield wash reservoir then used the SC packing foam for comfort.

Yep i used the same but the two circled in red xspecially the one on the left you could not get a scoket or wrench on.
    20180525_012041.jpg
This is what i used, i put a pice of electrical tape over the T40 torx bit then pushed it into the 1/4 ratchet then put a flait screwdriver against the bolt washer for resistance.

Thanks for the t40 torx tip, had the hardest time removing that rearmost passenger side intake manifold bolt the first time using an offset wrench and ratcheting wrenches..plus unhooking the clips that hold the harness behind the S/C

Thats very true on the rear main wire harness clips, what i did was remove bolts from the back of the intake manifold, then after you remove the manifold unclip the metal brackets from the harness and install them them on the rear of the supercharger, then recliped the main wire harness after all the SC botls were tight.

To make installation of the aftercooler radiator easier i removed this bolt and it simplified the install of the radiator.

Thanks, Magnuson could sell alot more products if they would simplify there manual or make a video to make it easier for a person to install. Cost of product + install puts it in don't touch me or I'll be signing divorce papers.

    No.

They could sell allot more of the price was actually reasonable.

You can't tell me there is $6000 in machining, parts and labor to build the things.

The profit on the things has got to be amazing.

They are doing something that is unheard of.

Usually when a branded part becomes available in a generic form, the price goes down.

Once the TRD branded SC become just a Magnusen charger, the price should have dropped. It actually increased. I've not seen that before.

    I like this thread.

Just some final touches i had to do for the Bully Dog tuner.
They give you a little a little clip that your suppose to clip to an exsisting fuse under the dash on the drivers side. Only problem is the Tundras are using a newer style fuse and cannot be used. I was however able to use temporally an older style fuse that i shorted out then installed in one of the blank open spot on the fuse block that powers on with the ignition. I shorted the fuse out because i not sure what it was used for if anything. Pluged the BD into the OBD, installed the Velcro on the unit and mounted it, pulled the weather strp away then ran the wire to the unit. I wanted the unit to be to be removable to change mods an updates.

The only thing i hate about the Bully Dog is it's hard to read with 53 year old eyes.
Would love to mirror it to my head unit to look like this.

Just to let everyone know about about what kind of mileage I'm getting now. Just befor the install i toped off the tank and reset trip meter and after a heavy foot and a few races my mpg came in at 11.83 city with a little hwy and i was very surprised at that, was thinking it was going to be about 9 at best, im hoping for a road trip it should be around 16 to 17

There is a YouTube where a Toyota shop installs the SC. They removed the entire hood.

2007 rcsb 4x4 trd tune, leveled with pro suspension, bed cover. 16mpg flat AZ highway @75mph. Might get more if i remove the bed cover, would get more if i cruise at a slower speed. I can't cruise at 60mph to gain 2mpg though....

Olny other thing bothering me is the bully dog, been trying the performance test and all i get after the test is this screen.20180606_192719.jpg
Looks like it has results but it has the testing screen sticking around blocking results. Have no problem switching builds, a word of caution picking builds you can view (click on)A,B,C but if you pick stock it will start the install. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong give me a shout about the performance test. Might have to give Keith or bully a call tomorrow.
