Ive been searching around for a goos winch bumper for my 2018, but all i can find are 1600 dollar bumpers (im refuse to dump that kinda cash into a $400 material build). What are some sub 1k bumpers that work well and still allow me to mount lights and a winch (warn 10k lb).

Bonus points if someone knows of one that has the swept sides that you usually find on prerunners

I have the DV8 offroad bumper, and its about $600-700 range, and I love it, looks good, and strong. Install was easy.

Now thats a buet, im interested to see what everyone else has but this may be the golden ticket. Hows it hold up, any stikes to the steel that it deflected, any problems with install?

Its held up great, the coating it comes with has held up too, no flaking, and it will take a hit too. Install was pretty straight forward, I put my winch in during the initial install, and there is plenty room for access. during shipping they did lose a harware kit, but I had extra bolts here in the shop so it was no biggie for me. And for lights, they do make a kit that comes with 4 lights, but i just snagged some 3.5" pods of Amazon and they do just fine.

Nice. Would you happen to have a profile picture that shows how far forward the bumper extends?

I bought a DV8 winch bumper for my 07 which is similar. Build quality is good. I had some fitment issues. DV8 is going to send me some new mounting brackets to fix the problem. The 3rd gen DV8 winch bumpers do not have that issue. The seller, OE Wheels on EBay, refunded me $150 due to the fitment issue. I ended up paying only $556!

Nice i hear they make good bumpers. I just cant bring myself to spend over 1000 for a bumper that cost like 300 to build

I was very hesitant with the DV8 bumper given that the price was literally $1500 cheaper, but after reading good reviews on here I tried and ordered - AMAZING!!
Install was so easy and the product is incredible. I haven't put a winch in yet but I plan on it.
You can see by the shadows on my driveway just how fast the removal and install was. Just me, my dog watching and a cup of coffee. No fancy tools, I'm not a mechanic - couldn't have gone better.
Yes - those are the factory fog lights - fit perfectly!

Yep KO Off Road/DV8 appears to be the same bumper since my KO has and DV8 tag right on the bumper. I got mine for roughly $550 to the door. I went ahead and purchased a 12,000# winch and installed both at the same time. If you do this plan on having 2-3 guys since mounting it is cumbersome getting all 12 bolts to line up simultaneously while holding the roughly #200 bumper. Saying all that, my nephew and his friend more or less put mine on in a couple hours. All I did was remove the old front bumper and install the winch in the included winch tray. The bumper comes with everything you need to install it. I went ahead and picked up 4 18 watt LED (bright as hell) fog lights. I used my stock fog light wiring harness to power the 4 new LEDs. It’s worth mentioning they have an available matching rear bumper for less than $500 to your door!

I also just installed the front and rear DV8 bumpers. The install was smooth and easy. The bumpers coating looks very high quality. We compared it to my two friends tundra bumpers (tough country and smittybilt) amd the coating looks to be of the same quality. For the price, this bumper can't be beat. I installed a 12,000 Engo winch at the same time. In these pictures I have not installed the fairlead on yet, but the winch is inside the bumper already.

I have 35x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 20" black wheels on the way, along with Bilstein 6112s.

What is the difference between the 2014-2018 and the later Tundras? I checked out the link above but it says this one won’t work on my 2020.

    Thank you in advance.
