Anybody recommend any rowdside emergency kits? Found some on Amazon, thinking about getting an emergency and flat tire kit. I already carry a small compressor in my truck.

I sort of pieced my own together. Tire plug kit, compressor, gloves, multiple flashlights, jumper cables, tie down straps, big giant machete LOL, sharpening stone, giant Rambo knife, and emergency first aid kit. I should probably get some road flares and a proper lug wrench besides the factory one. Also when I go on trips I don’t trust the compressor so I bring a hand pump just in case.

I don't like kits... build my own with what I want and better quality parts.

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
Can you link the tire repair kit you have?
I have had the stuff for plugging for decades and replace the goop and plug stuff from time to time. Not to useful for side wall damage but punctures stay sealed pretty well.

I also keep some basic hand tools under the rear seat, I should probably have a more complete tool set for 100% of the time. I do grab my small toolbox on extended trips. I feel like you could never be too prepared but at the same time where do you call it enough? LOL in a perfect world you have a spare part for any typical failures as well as a welder, air compressor and impact tools. I just don’t have that kind of money or space!

One of the benefits of having a tool box is I have a huge emergency kit.

I keep a tow strap, battery charger, spotlight, jumper cables, first aid kit, machete, ratchet straps, bungee cords, a scissor jack, and almost every tool that I own either in it or in the DUHA container under the back seat.

Great info! Include anything else you can think of that you would need in an emergency.

Do you all have this stuff in the truck bed or back seat? I’ve seen some storage compartments for the bed.

I guess it depends on where you’re going. A winch would be a huge recovery device and pay for itself in one use if you’re in the middle of nowhere. Plus the kinetic recovery strap as well as all the other little goodies to go along with it. Snatch blocks tree savers tow straps D rings etc.

What about a jack? I have a 2 ton one at home but it’d be a PIA to carry around in the truck

Here it is. It was only $35 back when i bought it...damn price increases. Yea i would not try to plug a sidewall.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DIECCK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also have a bunch more gear in my Locker down under seat safe and behind the back seats. I do want to get a Swing case or something like it but the fact that its plastic just does not make me too confident in it.

I've got the same kit, they work very well. I've used them in UTV tires, lawn tractor tires, and vehicle tires. The only one that didn't seal was when my wife hit a hubcap and broke one of the belts in the tire.

I also carry a Viair 88P, it's a nice compromise between a cigar lighter pump and a full out underhood compressor.

It’s all stashed either under the seat in the storage box as well as behind the seat. My forward facing camera still doesn’t work on my phone LOL I’m cheap and it probably won’t get fixed until I need a new phone.

Yeah I know... maybe next time I’m cleaning the truck I’ll get a wild hair and snap some shots with the wife’s phone or my iPad. I’ve got it all neatly tucked away.
