    Method standard guys

I'm looking at getting 20's at +18 or 17's at 0 offset. I know the 0's are going to have some bigger stickout and I know tire rub will be different with both and different with different size tires. My question is you guys that are running both of these setups which is worse rubbing and trimming wise and what not? Input is much appreciated

Oh and I'm getting an 18 TRD sport if that makes a difference

What is this rubbing you speak of? :anonymous: Seriously, I'm running 18s with +18 offset. I've done the CMC, nothing rubs anymore. The larger the rim, the more expensive the tire. You will usually find less selection with larger wheels to. IMO 20s aren't for wheeling.IMG_20180427_131755775.jpg

What needed trimming on yours? I'm leaning more towards the 17's with 0 offset to get a little more stick out. Just can't decide between 285's or 295's

I know you asked for standards but maybe this helps some. 18” Method NV +25 with 295/70 Toyo Open Country. Installers removed both front mud flaps which I will trim and put back on. Didn’t take a pic showing how far out the tires are but they’re about an inch beyond the fenders. If you need to see it lmk.

I did the cab mount chop, that's about it. I try pretty hard to get it to rub and it doesn't right now. I'm switching UCAs and will get more caster, we'll see what happens then. The lift is roughly 3+ /1.5 with about 12.5" of travel in front and 13" rear.

Will one of y'all running the 18's with +18 offset take a pic down the side of your truck please? More than likely going the 18 route

check Icon wheels as well. 17" size with 25mm offset. Optimized for Tundras. shouldn't have to do much to fit 295 on them.

    You’re welcome!

That was the exact set up I was gonna do if I were to proceed with fender flares which I believe he ended up doing.
