2018 Front Emblem

Good day folks,

I have a 2017 Tundra and i recently bought a 2018 grill(honeycomb style). It did not come with the emblem. I did alot of researche and finaly found the emblem that i would need (53141-71010) but its 400$. Im assuming its really expensive since it comes with the sensor witch i dont need. I really only want the emblem
Cover but i cant seem to find it! Any help with this would be appreciated!

@Roman has them for $40. I just bought one and installed on my honeycomb and fits perfect. You also need the other part for the grille.

Yep as stated above, purchase the landcruiser emblem from @Roman. I just received mine for my 2018 grille this week from him.

 

I just ordered it! Thanks alot! What is the other piece needed for the grill a anyways? I ordered it cause it was only 15$ but not sure what it is?

 

That's a plate the covers the hole near the driver side top of the grille under the hood. I think it serves as an access panel for the TSS emblem.

I swapped on my grille today and the front emblem is not a direct swap, you need to remove the lower section of the emblem surround And put a notch in
the grille. The first pic shows where to notch and the circled round areas are what the emblem contacts not allowing it to fully seat.

 

Does that black piece of plastic separate from the chrome part? I'm planning on getting an SR grill soon and want to keep it all black by painting it.

 

The emblem looks like it clips into the black background piece. It's pretty tight though, I didn't mess with it as I didn't want to break the emblem tabs.

 

I have an original Trd sport grill MGM with the emblem for sale if someone is interested.

Thanks for this info. These were a perfect fit for my new 2018 grille. I love the freshen up on my 2016, looks like a new truck!

 

I heard there are two types of emblems and grill inserts, anyway to know which one my grill needs?

 

I wish I could get this emblem for my '21 coming in that would be black or red, instead of the silver logo. Anyone have any ideas on that?
