I wanted to write about my experiences about this tire so far for those interested in these tires! I recently drove up to Michigan and got to experience basically every type of weather/terrain with these tires after only having the on a few weeks. I also gathered input from others that have had these tires for a while now.

Dry Traction: These babies grip well on drive pavement for such an aggressive tire. I guess that has to do with coopers "Hybrid" design and the use of silica and a carbon black rubber.

Wet Traction: We got hit with alot of crazy rain here in GA. Got a chance to test of the wet traction. To my surprise, these things did amazingly well in wet roads, puddles and some flooded streets.

    Deep Snow:
I had to go to Michigan (my home state) recently and they got hammered with about 1-2 feet of snow. Driving up there on snow covered highways and not to mention driving on unplowed streets to get to my destination. And I must say....THESE TIRES ARE BAD***. I stayed in 2WD while I was on the snow covered HWY and switch to 4WD off HWY. Not once did I experience wheel slip, no traction control engaging, sliding . These babies ate through the snow like its been starving for weeks.

ICE: I have little experience on ice with these tires. But with the input of others that have these tires including my buddy in Canada that has had these since October, they do "OK" in ice. Obviously you want studded tires for ice anyways.

MUD: Well thanks to the rain in GA, my "secret" offroad spot was covered in Georgia's muddy clay. Again, these tires performed flawlessly and cleans well.

Road Noise: These tires are surprisingly quiet for such an aggressive tire. These are the most quietest M/T on the market. There is some "road noise", but not as loud as you would think. They are louder than the KO2's, but not much.

Nice review man, those tires look great on your truck!

Think I'm gonna go with the ST Maxx myself. Seems like you can't go wrong with any of these newer Cooper tires.

I have 305/70/18 (35"). I originally was going with the 295/70/18 but cooper has these on national back order which is why its not showing on the site. I believe a few companies have some in stock though.

I have the S/T Maxx and LOVE them. One thing I like different about the STT PRO is more space between nubs. I do get enough small rocks stuck in these Maxx's. Still love them though.

What kind of mileage are you getting with these tires? Right now im stuck between these and the Toyo R/T.

I just took all road trip and only got 12.5 average Hwy. That's with a 3" front, 2" rear and 35" tires. Smaller sizes will yield better gas mileage.

I should've been more specific. I'm talking about tread life.

I got about 25k miles on the tires and still about 70% tread left. Seems to be wearing really good

I think I may go with these this weekend instead of going with the nitto ridge grapplers I was going with. Still going to be running stock wheels same as you with a 3" front and 1" back lift, was there any trimming you had to do? Also I'm assuming your running wheel spacers?

Go wit the 295's. Im running 1 1/4 spacers and still needed to trim the skid plate and move the front bumper 1" forward. It still rubs in full lock reverse.

Its louder that the grapplers, but not as loud as most Mud tires. Grapplers are AT tire so it will definitely be quieter. But overall, it doesnt bother me at all. Though they do tend to get slightly louder as the tread gets lower.

Mine have gotten a bit louder as they have worn down. They are not as loud as the Nitto Trail Grappler MT's when new but when worn down they are louder.

Great write up! Do you mind me asking the tire size/lift on the truck in original post?
