Thinking of going 295/70R18 tires. I do not want any rubbing. Is anybody else running the same size tires with a bilstein 6112 lift?

There’s no avoiding rubbing with 295’s

@408Tundra you can fit it with minimal trimming. Just do it.

You will have to do some trimming. Worth it.

    Dont. ;)

I originally went with 285 and ended up selling them at a loss for 295s. If you want 34's just do it first or you'll regret not doing it!

Yup. Trimming is like passing a kidney stone. Painful and sucks while you’re doing it, but afterwards.... happiness. :)

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
Can anyone confirm if you either will or will not need a CMC with 295's?

The way I understand it is it depends on both your wheel offset and the alignment numbers you get. Any of you guys who know better than me, feel free to correct this if I’m missing something. I’m not rubbing the cab mount with 295/70’s on +12 wheels and 2.4-2.6* of castor, I just have some rubbing on the fronts when the springs are more compressed.

Yeah just what Zach said. Also depends on what UCA you choose. Some place the tire closer than others depends on design. It really is up in the air if it will fit but the chances of it fitting on +25 is high. Myself, Zach, Joon and others are on 295's and never did the BMC.

@matluth is in that list as well, and he runs 295’s with the same wheel that I do. @Almaboy did you chop the cab mount?

You should add a Poll @408Tundra then you can see how many people needed BMC to fit 295's

Was thinking from the standpoint of you having +12’s. I thought you were going down to 295/70 STT Pros?

This is exactly what happened to me. Originally test fitted cooper at3 295/70. Rubbed bad front liner and mud flap. Purchased 285/70 due to them not rubbing but I always thought they looked a little small when looking at the truck at certain angles. Now I know its only 10mm but to me it looked small. I ended up pushing the wheel liner forward and removing the mud flaps and test fitting Nitto G2's and they cleared. Couldn't be happier. Im running 18x9 +18's.

Just be aware the Coopers run wider than most brands and nittos run narrower.

Body mount chop, cab mount chop. They’re the same thing.

Good luck, but my 275/60 20"s (with 6112 lifting 1.5" and 2" rear block) rubbed at full lock on the stone guard (despite a lot of research saying they wouldn't) , my mechanic cut the flanges off both sides and voila. They are 33.1" high. The 295 version vs mine is about an inch taller and half an inch wider. (I'm looking at the specs for the same tire and reading the numbers and thinking it should be more... but I'm not going to argue with the manufacturer.)
