Thought it was a little funny for I have this running contest with my daughter as to see how close I can park the truck to the garage wall and still get in and out. That steering wheel comes in real handy some days.

275/65/20, wanted a little bigger however; every day commute is 90 miles.

Nice looking ride. I’ve got the same suspension set up. It rides great. Get rid of that sway bar next. You won’t miss it.

With a 90 mile daily commute, I'd say the benefits of the sway bar would be immense. For highway driving, IMO, the sway bar is one of the best mods one can do. Only reason to ditch it is if there is a lot of off roading where the flex is needed.

Looks great! I am considering the same suspension setup. Sounds like everyone likes the ride. Can you describe how the handling is in corners compared to stock?

Rides a little more stiff, seems more responsive as compared to stock. Did not replace the UCAs as I was told they were not needed, lift was kept under 3 inches. New alignment from off road store and rides awesome.

I think there is a lot of difference in the stock ride year to year and model to model. My 2017, crew, platinum, 4x4 had the hardest ride of any vehicle I have ever driven, x4. It was nuts, but one I had just tested was a good bit gentler. My kidneys hurt driving it home... and I never ever had felt them before! And I was only 45, not 145! I called Bilstein and asked for help making the ride on road better (not offroad) but they said 6112 position #2 (about 1.5 of lift) and 5160's. I found the set of 4 online for just under a grand, got some 2" blocks to keep the truck level, and presto (that would be $500 to my mechanic). My ride is now 10x better than stock. If we use a 10 point scale from comfort to stiff my truck is a 5 now, and it was a 10 (my 05 and 06 Tundras were a 3 on that scale). I read about the guys that max out the 6112's saying they are stiff, which seems odd, you would think there would more travel to absorb bumps. But apparently Bilstein knows of what they speak. And my truck also does 10x better offroad or on washboard (than stock), so for me it's win, win. In corners it is better too, especially if there are bumps or corrections needed. With the suspension soaking up more, minor corrections are more accurate. And it more than makes up for the higher center of gravity, which I never notice.

I hear you, but there is more than one way to skin a cat. I picked up 1.75" from the shocks and block (average) and then I put on some Yohohoma G015's in 275/60R20 and it gave me another inch. So I got 2.75-2.875 with no muss, no fuss, and it rides sooooo much better on everything. But hey, do what works for you.
