I told them that if its not CV related and potentially suspension then not to touch it. If its suspension related then I’ll need to come visit you :D

Welllllllllllll, it’s not quite the intense, but yeah. I prolly have a little more of a scenic and tough commute some days rather than most people’s heavy menstruation of rush hour

Dealer couldn’t replicate and couldn’t find any obvious issues after lifting it up and diagnosing. I drove back down and couldn’t replicate it. Maybe temps decreased viscosity Somewhere and I’ll ty your recommendations. I’ll keep you posted tomorrow after I’ve lubed some joints

    Nope

I’m not sure whether I should feel grateful, pissed, or like there’s “impending doom” like the book says

Lose the "impending doom" feeling. I think things will sort themselves out and boil down to something simple.

You know me...as much as I don’t like to give credit to others for being right, I’m gonna concede defeat to everyone like @ColoradoTJ.....again

I will also like to go on record saying that my suspension feels better in Denver (warmer temps)

I’m wondering if something was lose and they just put a wrench on it?

They may have lightly lubed the spring areas I discussed.

    Time will tell....

I hope it is nothing more than that. The Toytec system is a good setup.

Like I said earlier, I have seen over the years coil over springs get pretty loud with some use. I try and lube my shocks up after every run to minimize rust/corrosion, dirt buildup.

I pull my shocks out every other year, service them, and toss them back under the Jeep. Every year I test out the limit straps to ensure I’m stressing out the straps vs the shock. When running limiting straps, every 12” of strap will stretch ~1”. Coilover Shocks re awesome when dialed in, but boy are they some work to get there and maintain.

I’m actually surprised more people aren’t running ORI Struts on their trucks.

Good to hear. I suppose I just need to get under there and learn how to maintain them properly.

No external coils on those huh. Do they make specific for the Tundra?

I know for the Tacoma they do. Now you have my mind wandering Brian. Let me check.

Looks like the 8” or 10” ORI strut would work on the Tundra, depending on travel needs.

My 2008 Crewmax developed a popping noise from the front driver side shortly after installing Rough Country 6" lift. Strange thing is that the popping noise no longer occurs but now the brake pedal gently pops a few times while turning the steering wheel left. I can't see anything strange while the wheel is turning. I'm vexed.
