Thanks so much. Dealership says that I can only go with the 275/70/18r. With the spacer do you know if I could go with a 285/70/r18. I just like to have the look of the wheel wells filled up a bit.

Ok I have 2014 Tundra double cab TRD I just bought 17x9 wheel with -6mm offset. I was thinking on going with a 285 or 295/70. Just wondering if i will have any rubbing issues. No lift currently but will be leveled out with bilstein 5100's in the front and coachbuilder shackles in the rear in the near future. Any advice would be great. Might sell the wheels if its too much hassle. Not even sure if the 17's will fit yet but they used to come on the rock warrior models so technically it should work.

Dual exhaust, Rivet fender flares, ICON coilovers (adjusted to 3 inches), Fuel Anza wheels, 285/75/r18 Toyo MT's.
Here is my 2016 Platinum. I installed ICON coilovers and adjusted them to a 3 inch lift. 18x9 Fuel Anza wheels with a 20mm offset. 285/75/r18 Toyo MT's. I had to do a small amount of trimming on the front right due to rubbing when I would hit the slope on the driveway at a decent speed. Once I trimmed a little, no issues at all! Here are some before, during, and after pics.

Will I be able to run a 305/65/17 with a -6mm offset rim and not hit the cab mount or the upper control arm?? I don't mind getting rid of some fender material or skid plate material. Truck is a 2014 sr5 trd double cab.

Hell ya. Nice tube bumper and skid plate. Time to fill the gap with a nice lightbar.

hello! I just recently bought an 07 tundra reg cab TRD and have some 20x9 +18 wheels. I have a 3 inch lift on the truck. What would be the biggest tire i could run without extreme clearance issues? I wouldn't mind to trim some plastic or something but wouldn't want to get more involved than that. what would be the recommendations?

Will the Grade/SR5 fit a 17 inch wheel? I kinda figure it would since the RW can fit 17's, just want verification.

Depends on the wheel. No, not all 17's fit. Yes, some 17's fit but scrape wheel weights. Yes, some other 17's fit without scraping weights.

Thanks. I'm looking at the Double Standards from Method, or the Fat 5. Just gotta figure out if I want to do 17's or 18's

Don't know about the fat 5's, but for the methods, do the 18's. The 17's have a pretty wicked backspacing. IIRC like 4.75 (which is a full inch difference than my wheels).

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?
I'm running the Method Standards. I hate cleaning spokes, and you'll have twice as many to clean with the Double Standards. :)

It is, but maybe great minds think alike?

Cleaning spokes doesn't bother me too much, Not like they are going to have more than brake dust on them for a while anyway

So I ended up going with the 0 offset. And with my 305/55/20 Nittos I had no issue. Just put 295/65/20's on and it looks great. However at full lock and more in reverse I get rubbing. I get it on the a arm and body. A local shop says they do this mod on Tundras a lot because of the Tundras clearance. Any of you guys get the mod? Should I just pony up and get the 6" on it?

0 offset means nothing unless you include the wheel width. It would help if you say where you are rubbing on the body. And a 6" lift won't fix rubbing the a-arm.

Thanks, don't know what I don't know.. The wheels are 20x9. Was told by a shop that 6" would fix but 6" doesn't clear the wheel well altogether so don't see it. Thought maybe a spacer. Or just spend the $150 and have the shop mod it.
