Thanks iHacker, I did try that but couldn't find anything. Also, there is a DRL fuse under the hood but it isn't used on the SR5/Pro, I assume it's for the Platinums with the OEM LED DRL.

That might be worth trying just to see what happens, but several guys have left purple wire taped up and had the Amber DRL work fine (using Leo's harness). Here is post #269 from the Eledobleu's harness thread:

But here is an option for you that wasn't clear in the instructions for me. I actually LIKE the AMBER DRLs on bright during the day. So...I unpinned the purple wire in the amber drl connector but NEVER cut the gray wire inside and it works just how I like it. Similar to our old headlights....when I turn on my car, the amber DRLs become bright ALONG with the LED DRL strip. (this is with or without the parking lights turned on). Only with the headlights turned on does the amber DRL turn off and is only lit when the blinker is used. TBH....its pretty striking during the day or in the evenings when you don't need the headlights yet and both the bright amber and bright LED drls are on together. (PS....it's an SR5....so the LEDs are bight all the time) Ill post pics.

Been lurking this thread for some time now. I am going to be buying the LED lights after seeing such great pictures and results. The one thing I don't like about the tundra is the headlights, they suck IMO. Couple of questions -- The stock headlight leveling switch will no longer work after installing the 2018 LED's correct? Who can create a plug and play harness for a 2016 Tundra Platinum to 2018 LED's?

Headlights Leveling still work in the 2018 LEDs same way as your old halogens, the connector is the same 3 way Plug, nothing changed on this function.

Hope someone can help me here. I have Leo's harness but I am trying to wrap my head around what wires attach to what. Do the labled wires on the Moto attach directly to the headlights or to the original headlight wires coming from the truck?

The 3 prong conector in th Motocontrol connects to the OEM H4 connector, there are 2 leads in the motocontrol one labeled “Ballast” and this will power your Lo Beam in the harness and the other labeled as “High Beam” is for the high beam,

The remaining connector in the harness will plug to the LED DRL harness

Thank you sir! So the OEM H4 connector is the wire that currently plugs into the stock light right? So the Mto only has 1 of those so what happens to the OEM H4 from the passanger side light...tape it up?
Sorry for all the questions ...just need to understand it all before I start tearing it apparto_O

Yeah is the connector you currently using in your stock headlights, the one in passenger side must covered I first use a coat of painters tape and then electrical tape to weatherproof it, this will never be used unless you go back to stock headlights

I do have LED bulbs in my fog lights but that should not matter right?

figured it out....thought I had to swap the red and the white but the red had to be moved to the #3 location in the plug

Sorry been busy the last few weeks, with Toyota’s wiring at the flasher relay the purple wire controls both the parking light & amber drl.

The lights are flashing with the locking & unlocking because of the red or pink wire depending on sides. The amber or parking lights aren’t gonna Work because you have the purple removed

Not sure if this has been discussed on any of the threads regarding the switch backs for the 2018 LED headlights but I received my VLEDs Triton V6 3157CK kits the other day and attempted to install them. Found the 2018 LED headlight assembles have 7444NA instead of the 4157NAK bulbs so my adapters that came with the kit did not fit. Had to order the correct adapter kits:

    http://www.vleds.com/v6-base-7443.html?___store=default

Here is what is show in the 2018 manual:

    See fine print
What you can do is pull your signal socket from your pre 2018 lights and it will fit.

Also if you revert back to the old sockets you need to repin it again. Since you ordered he correct adapter you don’t need repin.
