I noticed tonight my driver side fog light was not shining correctly. I went out to check the light and it dropped down about 1/2". I can grab the BD bezel and move it up and down. If I remember right the light is being held in place by OEM screw and mounting bracket. How do I securely mount the light so this doesn't happen again? I saw someone zip tied the light in place.

Might have been @BlueBottle . He suggested that when I told him my Morimotos were rattling all over the place.

Unless you have a different bracket I don’t remember mine mounting loosely. Do you have the fog kits?

    See fine print
It’s not the bd that’s lose. It’s probably the stock plastic housing. Yes zip tie it to the black bracket

Sorry about the issue with your kit. Here is a picture of how the BD bracket attaches to the Factory Fog Insert:

Sometimes the clips that hold the fog insert into the bumper can break causing the assembly to rattle or possibly fall off in extreme cases. I would recommend double checking the bracket orientation and the clips that hold the fog insert into the bumper. If for some reason any of your BD parts are missing please contact us at 800-422-5292.

I believe the BD bracket is fine. I think the blue clip might be the culprit. I won't know till I get in there. I do love the lights:thumbsup:

I just installed this kit and didn’t notice a blue clip on either side. Anyone have a pic?

Think the blue clip is only on 2016/17 Tundra if I remember right.

Roman, thanks for the part#. We are getting hammered with snow so it will be a few days before I can take a look.

Pulled the wheel well apart and the machine screw that holds the bracket came out. Only the outside screw was holding the light in place. Went to the local headwear store and bought 6mm machine screw, lock washer and removable thread lock. Won't come out now. Almost passed on the project today glad I didn't. IMG_0897.jpg

Subbing to this thread. I just ordered the blue clips today from Roman just in case, as I plan to install the 2018 LED fog lights. I previously zip tied them, but those blue clips are like $1.50 so it's worth a shot to see if it takes care of the looseness more cleanly than zip ties.

The little blue clips are only for models with the plastic, painted bumpers. The chrome bumpers do not accept the clips.
