Just curious if anyone has bought a Toyota and never received another communication from the dealer of any kind. I just find this to be odd behavior. Usually I get follow ups of some kind. At least coupons for service. Maybe because I gave them a one star on yelp for the attempted trickery from their finance dept. they decided to cut all ties with me. I have seen other bad reviews on Yelp and their Customer Service Manager normally responds to them. Out of all the dealers in DFW they probably have the crappiest facility and most difficult access.

I've gotten coupons for service since I bought mine in Jan of 2015. About every other month or so. They also sent some cookies from a local bakery in a nice Toyota bin about a week after buying it.

Might as well switch to a new dealer. Tell them what happened. You may get a freebie oil change or nothing....

I take it back. I did get one email. The day I bought it their customer service person said I would be receiving a packet on Toyota Care soon. Never received anything and even emailed her back after a month saying so. It has been silence since.

I went to a slightly closer dealer for my 5k service. The current GM there worked the deal on my 2013 Tacoma when he was sales director and my ex knows the owners. They were in the running when I bought the Tundra but things went south over $1k on my trade and I went elsewhere.

Maybe give that dealer another shot. They lost the sale but maybe they will want to service your Tundra. Can't hurt.

I did for my 5k service on Tundra. They screwed up the PSI too. 4 lbs below the door sticker. They did the same on my Tacoma once. Totally ignored the door sticker that stated 46 for BFG ATs and put in the standard 29 & 30. I was pissed when I got home and had to air up all 4. I gave them a zero once on a scorecard and the service manager called me. Problem is they are very convenient. Easy of and on hwy on the way home from work. I will use them for the first 25k.

Short of any warranty work they will do, now is the time to get intimate and personal with your ride. .......

I received several thank you emails as well as a gift package from the dealer. The gift package included two insulated bottles with the Toyota logo on them and several gift certificates. They were also very helpful when my temporary license plate was about to run out - I called and the new plate was at my house via FedEx the next day. I hope that there service department is just as good because they included standard maintenance for free for two years when I bought the truck.

same here. In fact, just yesterday I got an e-mail from the GM "congratulating me on my 1yr anniversary with the truck". I always use the same service advisor, and she knows me by name. Very good customer service. This is the reason when I decided to trade my 2015 in for a 2017, I went right back to the same dealer and salesman. I think @Almaboy uncle or something works there

I got a couple survey's and a Christmas card from the dealer with this truck. Last new GM truck I was able to get a power programmer and 2 full tanks after the purchase.
