Installed my Spyder lights today and for the most part it wasn’t too bad. So I read most of the threads and watched a few YouTube videos about how to do this and that it is the only reason I was able to do it by myself. For the most part it is plug n play. I only broke one clip taking the grille off but other than that the biggest pain in the ass was getting the leveling motors swapped to the Spyders. In total it took me 2 hours...1 hour 45 mins on the first light and 15 mins on the second. Easy peezy after doing one. Also, before I even installed the lights I switched out the halogen bulb that came with the Spyders and added Hikari LEDs. Still working on getting the light pattern right. I have to read more threads!! 6B0B39A2-E721-49F3-9A64-2E648DF374F8.jpgFC9AF25F-625E-47E2-984E-96E659920B4A.jpg8E449426-652E-4E9F-AE55-72DCB8E34727.jpgFBDD3EC3-7BCA-4F76-AEB7-EFA7F8A926D0.jpgB1F4670E-4F58-403E-B63F-D85C71343C66.jpg801073DD-FCAB-481D-88D5-8F6B95B4661F.jpgDC2E2D5A-ECD4-4672-B20F-033974B8E712.jpg82978407-99C2-4474-A026-909A533AC43D.jpg

Did you remove the black tips from the lamps? I didn’t realize at first that you have to. It looked like shit until I figured it out.

So on the first headlight it took me awhile to figure out how to get the leveling motor out even after watching videos. I also wasn’t sure how the side marker lights unplugged but common sense prevailed and I figured it out. Those were the biggest hurdles and I was stopping a lot to rewatch the stupid videos. But after you do it once it’s like damn that was actually easy and I breezed through the second light. I’m a newbie at all this so for me to be able to do it anyone can!

@War Machine...yes, i actually read on another thread that you had to unscrew those so I made sure not to repeat that mistake.
