I just purchased some new Pro Comp 7032 wheels for my 2010 Tundra. They are Non hubcentric. Did I make a mistake? I've read a little about difference and hub centric seems way more solid. I don't off road really at all, but I'm concerned about safety or issues down the road. Can someone clear this up for me?

Get some hub centric rings. People who have them seem to like them.

Does that effectively make non hub centric wheels more hub centric?

I guess another question would be if I take care during installation, use the correct lugs, and install in the star pattern using proper torque specs, do I have anything to be concerned about using these wheels without the Hub centric rings?

Personally, I would prefer hub centric wheels, but in the absence of those, I would definitely get some hub centric rings. Without the rings, your wheels are vulnerable to any impact perpendicular to the lugs. You may develop some sort of wobble.

Since 5x150 is specific to Toyota vehicles, I am surprised that these manufacturers don't bother to make the wheels hub centric.

I believe they make that wheel in multiple lug patterns

I'll pick up some hub rings. Makes sense to me to use them

Thanks for the input. Pics to follow

So I'm all over the place looking for rings for this thing. I've seen the Tundra's hub listed at 110mm, 110.1mm & 110.5mm. It can't be all three unless I have a Frankentruck. Anybody know for sure what I have (Stock 2010 SR5 Tundra DC 4X4)? Also have been told by Pro Comp that the bore for my wheel is 114.3mm. Is this an odd combination? Nobody seems to sell these

So after searching EVERYWHERE, I have found out that not only is the Tundra hub diameter apparently not worth making as a stock hub ring size, but that my hub/wheel combo is as rare as the one eyed, 3 legged orange unicorn. www.uswheeladapters.com is the only place I have found who can make them for $60+$12 shipping. The $60 I could live with, but its the $12 shipping of 4 little plastic rings that annoys me.

Anyone know of alternatives out there before I pull the trigger on these friggin things?

I thought the center hub on a 2nd gen tundra was 110MM. I am looking at Icon 6 speed wheel and their hub is 116.5mm. I have no idea where to find rings. It is liking reading gibberish on these "ring" sites. Makes no sense to me. I want to pull the trigger so bad and move to a 17" wheel, but am having troubles with this damn center ring. One person says lug centric is fine and the other says hub is the only way. I need help too, BAD!!!

I used lug centric wheels on 2 different Wranglers for 15 years, as mentioned earlier the proper lugs and correct tightening pattern and you don't have anything to worry about. My opinion is if you hit something hard enough to move the wheel you're going to have other damage to worry about.

plenty of guys running that size with no issues but yes It would make more sense for Icon to release the correct size the first time especially for dedicated Tundra wheels.
Methods are like that too. 116mm. I think they only have one or 2 models that are 110mm

Some wheels with a larger center bore, but the center cap is a push through and acts as a centering ring.

It doesn’t make a difference. Plenty of guys who run non hub centric wheels and beat on their truck harder than 99% of guys. Don’t think twice about it just make sure the wheels are out on and torqued properly

Also hub rings don’t do anything except help center the wheel to properly torque down the lug nuts after that they don’t act like some faux hub centric adapter
