I was reading and looking online about how people put extra charge ports in their vehicles. My truck is the road trip and Trailer hauler so the need for multiple charge points is common. Turned out pretty good. Got both of them for about $25 on Amazon. IMG_2531.jpgIMG_2535.jpg IMG_2534.jpg

Turned out great! Are the ones in front just charging ones?

Yes, the front one on the left is just charging, as well as the rear. It has factory usb port for the radio which I have a 32gb stick inserted. The only project left is I wanted to wire the left Aux 12v port in the picture to constant 12v in case I need to power anything while the car is off.

Can you post the direct link to the one you bought for up front? Does it fit a blank perfectly?

My wife said don't look at Amazon purchase history cause there are gifts in there so give me a few days to figure it out without seeing history.

To answer the other question yes the front USB charger fit perfectly into factory slot. There are 2 I purchase that looked similar but when they got here it was obvious one was much better than the other.

I also put in a Hardwire kit for my Valentine One radar detector and added the bluetooth module for it.

I've never seen the one on jobber. (Whatever that is)

Install took about an hour for the rear one. The trick was to place the locking ring on the back panel on the inside to visualize position and so you have enoigh roon to spin it. It's a tight squeeze, luckily it just happened to be centered.

He added ports where there weren't any plugs, etc.

    Still rocking the stock height.
Looks great. I may need to do something like this for my truck as we will start traveling in it more and more.

I like being able to have my phone plugged in behind me when I charge the phone so I don't have a mess of wires and adapters all over the car. Plus it looks a lot cleaner. The 2.1A port will keep my son's ipad fully charged while playing movies on road trips and it will charge it up quickly when the power is low. Most of the lighter adapters get really hot when charging at 2A and it is hard to find one that will have 2 ports and not look like the space shuttle sticking out of the lighter.
