    Great look. Funny was just looking up Ridge Grappler reviews seen you had this post. Definitely convinced me to do a 3/1 lift with 35" Ridge Grapplers now. Be keeping them on the rock warrior wheels though.

    That's not good, seems like they would disperse water better. I have heard that they are a little noisy after a few thousand miles of wear. Which stands to reason as they have a large lug tread pattern.

    Damn, that's no good. Are they really that bad? Can't say my KO2's are invincible in the rain either. I've definitely hydroplaned in some deep water on the highway. Looks like STT Pros just leapfrogged the RG's on my list again.

    Hi - wondering if you have had any more thoughts/feedback on your ridge grapplers now that you've had them on there for a few months? I've got a 2013 Crewmax TRD Rockwarrior trim - upgrading from 285-70-17 BFG ATs to 295-70-17 on stock suspension - unless you have negative feedback...

    Absolute awesome to hear!!! I have an appointment set for 8:30 am to install mine tomorrow! Thanks for the quick reply!!! Do you happen to know if I can go any bigger than the 295 70 17's without any lift/leveling etc.? I was considering the 285 75 17 (34s) but wasn't sure - also they weren't in stock and there was going to be extra shipping on them...poor student story :) hahaha....sad but true.

    I’d be inclined to think you’d need a leveling kit for both sizes, and likely wheel spacers as well.

    Have the Ridge Grapplers for a couple of months now and just had the opportunity to test them out in snow. Traveling through a winter storm for a couple hundred miles pulling a trailer was easy enough. Once back in home town, there were several inches accumulation. Unhooked the trailer and ran around town with no issues. Did not break loose once.

    Looks: 10/10 - Not sure what else you can do to make a tire look any better. Very aggressive looking. Between an AT and MT as far as tread pattern.

    I will have to disagree on this one unless you are comparing to a pretty weak AT like maybe a Bridgestone. I would say the Nittos are in the middle of the pack when it comes to an aggressive AT. Cooper make 2 ATs that have a more aggressive tread and the BFGs are more aggressive.

    Hi Z- due to my traveling shortly and the 285/75/17's not being in stock locally, I went ahead with the install of a set of 295/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Happy to say that on stock 2013 CM RW - no where near rubbing; they look great and I'm pleased for this round.

    Okay all, here's my #RockWarrior with a new set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers -
    To help others find out the answer to my question (which I was never able to find so I've answered it myself) here are my stats:

    2013 Tundra CrewMax TRD Rock Warrior Package in Super White
    Original stock suspension and RW 17" wheels
    Upgraded tires from 285/70/17 BFG A/T's to 295/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

    New tires fit with no rubbing - I think I actually have plenty of clearance for the 285/75/17 (34") which will be my next set of tires if all goes well this time around.

    We need to add more information to max tire sizes for stock suspension not leveled RW package 2nd Gen's.

    I wouldn’t suggest doing 34s without a lift or level and stock wheels. Your going to end up with rubbing and have to do a lot of trimming. Highly recommend atleast a 2” Lift for that and also wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels with proper offset.
