Ok I'm new here. Is anybody else having problems with the trd exhaust system on the 2014 tundra. Every time I take it off road they come apart and start leaking. At 5000 miles I broke them and the dealer replaced them. I do drive hard so hard they rebuilt the rear end at 5000 miles because of a humming sound. Should I just take it easy?

I'm about to order the 2.5 fox suspension I hope this will help. Still under warranty so dealer should fix it again.

Do you have any pictures? I have never heard of this. I have never looked at the difference between the exhaust on the DC model and the CM model, would it be possible somehow the wrong part # was installed and replaced?

I think Toyota uses pretty decent 304 stainless too. The TRD exhausts that I have seen up close look pretty beefy. I searched and couldn't find any complaints similar to yours. Maybe back off a little. heh heh.

After the first time they change the exhaust flanges I still could feel a leek with my hand. Another way I can tell they are leaking is water condensation coming out. I took it back and they found it had hair line cracks.

Is everything welded or does the dealer just use clamps to secure (not necessarily a bad thing)?

Most dealers aren't really setup to weld stainless. You pretty much need to go to a weld/fab shop that has the capability to weld different metal types.
