Here’s my problem: the water at my house is very hard. Anytime I use water from the hose, I end up with spots all over the vehicle. Using rinseless wash with distilled water is the only way I’ve been able to avoid it. It’s especially a problem on my black Tundra. The spots don’t show up as much on my wife’s grey Sequoia. When I’ve had caked on dirt, I’ve just tried to hose it off and dry it ASAP. It’s a PITA.

I was thinking maybe it was a reach, @War Machine , you tryin' to make this thread risqué, but I see you're right; it's all about hard or soft.

I actually tried to think of another way to say it, but it is what it is. Hard water makes it hard.

Any recommended coating on new wheels to help prevent brake dust buildup, make easier to clean, and such?

I noticed on the drip edge/ pinch weld/ basically the rounded area of the truck below the doors, it is either really heavy/ thick road grime or under carriage protection over spray. How do I remove it so I can make that area of the truck not look dirty?

Got another question, what do you gurus recommend for cleaning the interior plastic bits. After cleaning, do I use my 303 or something else. I don't really want a shine, just a clean look and UV protection.

What bottle of wax addict are you using? I'm probably missing it in my search. I see soap and stuff for painted surfaces

What is best to clean fabric seats? My dog vomited bile on the way to the clinic yesterday. I wiped it up right away, but want to clean the seats right.

I used Chemical Guys Jet Seal on the plastic trim thinking it would be fine......nope! Had a faded looking mess. I contacted Chemical Guys about what to do because regular soap wasn't cutting it, they recommended their wax remover (not on Amazon yet, had to order it directly from CG).
    upload_2018-4-14_14-45-0.jpg

The worst spots were the bed runners. I probably applied the most jet seal there, because it was the spot i was most worried about.

I started with a MF towel and it didn't really cut through it, tried a soft bristle brush (meant for scrubbing tires) and it did better but still wasn't taking it all the way off. I went under the kitchen sink to see what i could find, and we bough a giant pack of generic Magic Erasers....i'll give that a try. BINGO! worked like a champ. Still had to put quite a bit of elbow grease into it, but it was coming off. Ended up using a toothbrush to TRY to get into the nooks and crannies.

Not perfect, but that'll do pig. Finished it up with a coat of 303 Aerospace

I use this to on my truck, key is don’t do it in direct sun or when truck surface is hot. Worked for me. I also use jet seal on our cars. It’s the shit!

I have the dark grey leather interior with light grey highlights. I am a woodworker, so dust is an issue. What do you guys recommend for keeping my leather clean, soft, and looking new? Also, just a damp, clean rag for regular dust removal? Thanks in advance!

Not a bad idea  I did notice my Dewalt tool set made it smell really nice, and almost had that new leather smell. My wife wouldn't ride in the bed so I had to take them out unfortunately

For some reason I couldn't get her to see it my way. Women, go figure

Any thoughts on these cleaning products from Adam’s Polishes? I ordered their iron remover, heavy duty sprayer, detail spray and clay mitt. 7B2BA010-C3CC-4E0D-A4BA-3083D1083C7B.jpg
