I always mind my own business and I always park the FOCK away from everyone and I still get hit in the parking lot. Unfocking believable and of course nobody left a note or anything.

Can this rear corner be replaced with the right color match part or do I need to repaint it? What part number will this be ?

You should be able to replace it. I think it’s called bumper cap or bumper shell. Not sure.

That sucks. Sorry man. You could be the only vehicle in a huge parking lot and still get hit or someone parks right beside you.:annoyed:

Yes you can replace the just the left rear corner.

a quick wipe with a rag saturated with lacquer thinner will quickly remove all that paint transfer.

Ugh! Bums! Color number 040. Super White. I'd try painting it first, If you don't like the results, you're not out much money. Also not real sure you can find it prepainted. Most parts are bare plastic in a gray color or black and need primer and paint.

Eh, I think that's a cap, right? What you posted there is the whole bumper, I thought the cap itself is separate?

If you're referring to my post, that is the cover, the plastic shell. It is one piece, across the full back.
The entire bumper system with the resin cover has several components, with the structural parts including numbers 5,7, and 9 in the illustration. #1 is the resin cover referred to above.

It's different for 2014 to 2021 trucks, they moved from a 1 piece design to separate left and right caps.

Or, get a new front and back bumper, go full metal, even that scratch can buff out, but they are heavy....
I need to find the front one for the front bumper....

It’s a bumper end. You can fix it your self and paint with a can of the matching spray paint from any of several sources. Don’t sweat the small shit…

I think is just a one piece cover? Looks like one piece? The paint is wiped so it needs to repainted or replaced.

It is one piece if I remember correctly. Sand, prep, tape off, aerosol can the paint match, then do a coat of clear. Might cost you 125.00.

Not doubting that at all. OP has a gen 2. '07-13.

Or maybe not.... thought in the original post it looked like a gen 2 taillight. Post #14 looks more like 2.5 bumper. And I didn't bother looking at which sub-forum it was posted in. My bad.

In any case, I'd just fill it, sand it, paint it.

At least they didn’t get your parking sensor too that would have been another $100. They obviously smashed their parking sensors backing into shit already and don’t know how to use their f-ing mirrors! Sorry you’re having to deal with this.

I'm with ColoradoTJ, go to a paint shop and have them make a can of spray paint that has BOTH the paint color and clear coat in it (instead of 1 can for paint and 1 of clear coat). You'll be very surprised how well it will come out. And to top it off you'll have a little left over from the paint can that you can use as touch up paint. Pour the remainder into a 50mL Reagent Glass Media Chemical Bottle to use at a later time. Pick up some disposable paint applicators while you're there as those are 10X better than using a Toyota touch up paint bottle/brush.

Have you taken off the bumper to check for damage to any of the brackets?

I measured both sides and the bumper wasn’t pushed. Is plastic, just got badly shaved.
