Anytime you see a sale like this, it's not coming from the dealership. It's coming from Toyota. You can pick any participating dealer of your choice.

    Serra Toyota of Birmingham=good
    Serra Toyota of Decatur=bad

@jpink got the same offer from Fred Anderson.

I think it’s more than just Toyota. Seems to be isolated to the Toyota Southeast distribution/district area. It’s certainly not in my neck of the woods. I’ve yet to see Boch (Nucar) Toyota South offer anything similar.

Maybe, but there is nothing stopping you from ordering from one of our fine dealers. They will ship it to you.

I agree; I just don’t understand why it’s limited to that area.

I swear the photos make it look bigger than it really is. When the rest of the mounting bolts show up I need to pop it off and level it better. Was in a hurry when I installed it the first time.

Took an early morning trip to town the other day and we counted about 45-50 deer on the way there.
Mostly roadside and several that ran on the road in front of us.

I’m going on record that that’s the best winch bumper a guy can get for $1000 in this day and age. Great find, you definitely lucked out. A pair of larger aux lights that are located centered on the top of the bumper (between the hoop) might visually break up the front end and make the bumper look a bit smaller? Even without, it still looks fine.

If you’re on a budget, maybe look for a used warn M12000 winch on craig’s or faceplace marketbook? There tends to be quite a few that are always for sale here in the pacNW. The only thing i would do to a used warn is to get rid of the fail prone solenoids and upgrade it with a reliable Albright contactor switch. A contactor switch is a lot smaller and can be tucked/hidden inside the bumper.

Could probably fit a full case of empties on that bumper.

Matching spares are the tits.

Time for your own deer smasher bumper.
If you can weld, the Coastal has a full brush guard option.
Or modify a second gen Taco ARB.

    Otherwise I'd say BFF.
    Or in the winch spot

I don’t like how coastal attaches to the flimsy frame horn mounts. Not sure how bff does theirs but addicted you weld in a cross member with side plates on your frame to tie it all in

Yeah, I'm definitely happy with this purchase. I have already started looking at 6" and 9" driving lights for inside the hoop. If it's not raining tomorrow I need to measure some stuff on it and take some photos to send to ARB. I suspect this bumper is over 20 years old, the guy I bought it from had it sitting up on a ledge in his garage for a while. The fog light surrounds don't match anything that ARB currently sells, and ARB bumpers without the marker lights next to the fog lights seem to be pretty rare.

Current plan is to get the fog lights sorted. Fix my leaky power steering cooler, the brace it mounts to had to be removed and moving it around opened up some cracks in the hoses. It's weeping now. Start figuring out a winch for it, I contacted Warn and asked them and they told me to ask ARB. Look at options for spot lights. The spots and the winch if I go new can wait until black Friday and hopefully there will be a decent sale on them. Just want it all buttoned up before we see any snow.

When I pull mine off to add the rest of the mounting bolts, I'll take some photos of how it mounts. ARB has crumple zones between the bumper and the frame, but the mounts were pretty well designed to fit on the end of the frame rails. Definitely a lot beefier than all the sheet metal parts I removed.

I know some on here use Toyota oil filters.
Did anyone notice slightly increased oil pressure with them.
I got in mine I ordered and switched to them last oil change, and noticed have little more oil pressure than using high dollar wix oil filter.
May be my imagination, but also seems to have better VVTi response using them.

At 55-60mph, 1800-2000 rpm, it’s at half way mark compared to being a needle width below it with the wix.

Yeah there is that, but much like the ARB, they also have 2 bolts per side going into each side of the frame, not just the front 4 per frame horn.

i didnt notice a difference with the oil filter, but i did notice a change on my oil gauge after running 100-108mph for like 10-12 miles across west tx. My gauge still shows more pressure than it used to when i use a fram.

They aren't expensive either especially if pick em up once in a while during the 25% off sales with other parts.
