    Hello All,
Some awesome human being decided to scratch and gouge my bumper on the passenger bumper side paint matched area. Is that portion of the bumper replaceable by itself or am I stuck looking for the whole bumper. Not looking for aftermarket solutions. Any part numbers or leads would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Dan

Yes, you can replace just the rear bumper caps.

    Take a look here:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/ultimate-oem-toyota-parts-thread-for-2nd-gens-2007-21.10707/

Scroll down to Rear Bumper Ends to get some PN's, which look like 52155-0c903 and 52156-0c903 for caps with sensor holes and 52155-0c030 and 51256-0c030 for the ones with no sensor holes. These are unpainted and will need to be painted

And if you can't find the OEM ones from the dealership, OEM Painted Parts might work for you:

Did you swap out the rear end caps or someone that owned it before you? The limited came with chrome and you could just have paint matched bumpershellz. Thats the way mine are, they look so good though that when I bought it I thought it was the actual end caps for the bumper. If thats the case an even easier swap.

I bought it off the Toyota lot in 2020 brand new, always thought it was confused looking with color matched rear bumper and chrome front end caps. I've only seen lower trim levels like you are describing. Every limited I've noticed had the mismatched painted rear and chrome front. I took a closer look at mine and it is definitely not a shell.

Any 2.5 gens equipped with BSM came with color matched rear bumper caps. The BSM sensor is located behind them and it cannot see through the "chrome" caps, so there were ORM color matched ones on several trims.

I apologize you guys are so right. I just went and inspected mine closer. I assumed it was a shellz because it dented like plastic when I bumped something.

The TRD-OR packaged trucks have paint matched rear bumper caps. My '21 Limited TRD-OR came with chrome in the front, paint matched in the rear.

Only is they have BSM. Not all TRD Off Road packaged trucks did.

Was there a year or trim that that it was standard? When I was looking for my '21 years ago, I'd narrowed it down to TRD-OR and one of the reasons was the rear bumper caps being paint matched. Thinking about it now, all I was looking for were Limited's so maybe it was trim, not package specific and I didn't put 2 and 2 together at that time?

I don't know all the trim options for sure, but I know some. I do, however, know that TRD Off Road did not give color matched rear bumpers because SR5s with TRD Off Road but no BSM had chrome rears.

The TRD Sport package color matched everything. Grille surround and bumper caps front and rear.

The Platinum color matched everything. Grille surround, bumper caps front and rear, and also the front bumper valance.

Unsure what was chrome on the limited for the 2.5 gens, but I'm pretty sure it was the same as the SR5s with chrome grille surround, and bumper caps.

BSM, in whatever package/trim it was in as that did vary by year, would always color match the rear bumper caps.
