Hey friends. Still chasing the rust for my son’s 2002 tundra. Can anyone tell me if this rusted out metal part is called a radiator support and where to get one. I am looking to replace it…looks fairly simple.

Use the parts system with the VIN to look it up. See the first couple of bullet points here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/howto-use-the-toyota-parts-system-to-find-order-parts.113808/

I think it may be the part with index# 52131A here (That's just an index number, not the actual part number, which I think is 52131-0C010). But I recommend to pick thru the parts using that thread I linked in the last paragraph, since I can't really tell from the picture you're showing what it really is.

I appreciate that! Yeah from that diagram it looks like the 52131A. With the body lift on the truck, this is maybe why it is below the bumper. Here are a couple more photos…

It is defiantly not 52131A. That's a bumper reinforcement. Looking on the 51-51 frame diagram it appears you need 51021-0C010. It's called a crossmember sub-assembly, frame auxiliary. Toyota's crayon draying sure looks like what you are asking for. Google for a look at the drawing.

Here is the frame diagram @Tundra Chief is mentioning. I agree, it looks like 51021B in this diagram, which as he said, is p/n 51021-0C010 and its bolts are p/n 91619-B1225 (you'd need two bolts). Those links will take you straight to a dealer I use often, who normally offers free shipping and no tax on orders over $75.
