I have finally finished my Project M cabinet—well, half of it, at least! I'm so happy with how it turned out, although it was a lot more work than I expected though. It's made of a 1" aluminum extrusion frame, 1/2" maple plywood, Formica countertops on 3/4" MDF. I used Prospect Overland's video as an initial guide for the frame. Then did my own thing and made it up the design from there.

This side houses a Truma Varioheat Eco heater that runs off a 10lb propane tank on the back, as well as the Goal Zero, which powers the whole setup with a few fuse buses throughout. Using the Goal Zero external display for the power allowed me to completely close in the main unit and still control it.

I plan to build the other side this spring, but it should be simpler. Just more of a low, bench height cubby with a few drawers and no electronics or heater.

Thanks guys. I was going for a factory look after seeing some of the FWC in person last year. It just felt right!

    Wow awesome thanks for sharing!

How did you source your truma?! And what techniques and tools did you use to cut the exhaust port for it?
