Managed to break 3 lug studs on the highway; but I was blessed two held and I could pull over; limped it to the O’Reillys 5 miles away and left it overnight to swap in a spare hub assembly I hadIMG_4607.jpg IMG_4603.jpg

Honestly I’ve been scratching my head about it; it’s been driving fine, no wheel shimmy to indicate the wheel was loose; but the wheel was indeed loose when I tightened the two remaining lugs

That's usually what will do that. Did you have that wheel removed recently?

Minor face refresh continues...after replacing the bumper valance the next part was headlight restoration. The pics here are the before, then after sanding, first couple of coats of 2K clear coat and then the after pic today (the next morning).

There's some orange peel, but I'm happy enough with it. It was a very humid day and I had to spray them outdoors, so I wasn't looking for or expecting perfection. I could cut and buff but really just wanted the dingy yellow and peeling parts to be fixed, and they are. There's still some internal yellowness but it's worlds better and will do until I upgrade to some nicer lights like Morimotos or something.

    If anyone's interested, I used:
    -Eagle Abrasives job pack sandpaper
    -Spray Max 2K clear coat
-Degreaser I had in the garage, sprayed on before sanding.
-Extra sheets of 320 grit sandpaper I had because the old clearcoat was very stubborn -- of course this made deeper scratches so I had to spend more time smoothing out the surface with the finer grits in the job pack.

If I were to do anything different, I would start by just washing with some dish soap instead of degreaser. It melted parts of the old clearcoat and made them stickier, which made the job harder and clogged the paper more.
