If you could find a used sheet of aluminum on craigslist or the marketplace, then it might be worth the extra bucks to have a machine shop put a couple bends in it. It would take them all of 5 minutes….closer to 30 minutes if they have to shear it to size.

planning on getting SPC Performance Upper Control Arms (25460) since i got the bilstein lift and my alignment numbers are close, but not exactly in specs. has anyone gotten these? worth the buy or go with another brand? says there specifically designed for 4 runner/ tacoma but after some digging it says they will fit fine on my tundra

SPC are nice, if you want the extra adjustability -- like for anything bigger than a 33" tire. But you'll have to either know exactly what you want from em or find a competent alignment guy for em. You can adjust camber and caster with the SPCs, and the upper ball joints are greasable. Not sure if their newer UBJs still are. But the odd ones like I have are, and should be greased at least every other oil change.

There are other options with no extra alignment settings to mess with, like the JBAs, with sealed UBJs and greasable bushings. Total Chaos uniball, Camburg uniball -- just gotta make sure to clean and spray grease on those somewhat often.
What else..? I'm pretty sure I'm missing at least one more decent brand UCA.

I don't recommend KSP or Freedumb off-road UCAs.

Skip it. Get JBA uppers. Most people don’t need the added adjustability of SPC arms. Even more shops don’t understand how they work enough to help you leverage that. Speaking as someone with SPCs here, I’ve experienced the shop shortcomings directly.

6112s up front w/ 650 lb springs, 5160s in the rear, JBA UCAs, Suspension Maxx Links, ATS leafs w/ Wheeler's AAL and overload spring, Toyota Gloss Gunmetal TRD Wheels, Toyo Open Country AT3s 275/70/17
I just put 6112 bilsteins in and the JBA UCAs. The JBAs are good quality, more affordable, and simple. I like them.

GA had seen a lot of rain lately and this is the first week that it's been dry so we had a bit of postponement of the heat. Now it's here in all it's glory and the humidity is just smothering. Walking outside feels like you get immediately wrapped in a hot, damp, wool blanket. I was coated in sweat just trimming the hedges yesterday in a 30 minute period. Yuck.
