@snivilous Thanks for pointing out on my logging was in absolute load instead of airload. Might have added timing where it's not needed.
My MAF Max's out at 6400rpm but injector duty cycle was at 89%. All others are good and timing stays as it is.

Got everything back on this morning!
Once again got to thank @Mcbelen (Maynard) at MCBAutotech. Dude is A+, he mainly did the uninstall and reinstall, I just helped lol.

Drove around for a bit and she’s ready for the road again :burnrubber:

He was given tracking about two weeks ago but so far it's nothing but a label being created.

Anyone with a Whipple kit recall if it comes with spark plugs(does not say in there product details), and if not should I grab the IKH22 in preparation and gap to the .032 as mentioned?

It does, or at least the Gen 4 kit did.

Ugh. I reached out to Whipple about my Gen 4 rebuild. Still waiting for parts; no ETA on rebuild or return. Was told 10-15 day turn around time. Looks like I'm taking that truck back to stock this weekend.

Thinking about cancelling my order for the Gen 6 Whipple for my '21 and just keeping it stock. Or maybe trading teams and getting a Harrop. At this point, I've laid out money for two SC's and have zero SC's in my possession with unreliable and continually sliding ETA's. I make a living out of the back of my truck and I'm tired of it sitting in my shop with the hood up. It's honestly the first time the truck has ever sat in 12 years. I should really just quit being a crybaby, I'm just annoyed and in a foul mood. :goingcrazy: /rant

When the time comes I'll be going with Harrop. Really sucks about the Whipple issues and them dropping out for the Tundra.

If your keeping it close to stock keep the ikh22 and keep the gap at .030-.032. If you get any misfires you can try gapping down a few thou.

All in good fun, but 1) I'd be subscribed to essentially every comment for potential comparisons, and 2) I really am sorry for all the Whipple folks stuck in this purgatory, especially with them saying they're walking away. That's a sad hit to the ecosystem.

No, that's some bullshit. The automotive sector seems filled with some of the shittiest operations and people I've concluded. Probably some bias in there since the industry I work in is much more closed door, and then I prowl automotive forums, but nonetheless---for an industry that is completely driven by selling to the consumers, it amazes me how many consumers get jacked around constantly.

If I had to be without my truck in operation for several months that doesn’t even make me money and is mainly used for leisure (towing a travel trailer), I’d be going and buying another one. I hate the idea of having a car payment, but I’d go get one! It is pretty unreal they would treat their customers with such disregard as to not even pretend to give an ETA, even if it’s just lip service.

without the holes it will block air flow at speed. The guy who fab'd this up for me has done this before and says it works. I was skeptical, but we will see.

Slap your stock intake back on and drive it NA, it's not that much work, keep the same intake, injectors and plugs as-is and you can use the same tune...

Haha I’d have bought another truck in your case too..

Your case is different though since they’re building you an engine, not rebuilding something they sold you that shouldn’t have failed in such a short time frame to begin with!

Enterprise Truck Rental solves all of my "lack of truck" issues at the moment. Expensive, but keeps the production rolling.

I do feel the pains of having the truck down. The amount of times I’ve went and looked at bronco raptors as a daily is ridiculous

I wouldn't block of the holes as it's your intercooler in front of your condenser and radiator. You want flow in slow stop/go traffic.

Before I purchased the Whipple for my '13, Jesse had just introduced the turbo kit but was still developing it and wasn't yet offering it for sale. I looked long and hard at it. I'll have to revisit it - just means lots more reading on the turbo thread. Not like catching up on this SC thread if you are new to the forum, but lots of reading...

Long story short, that's why I bought the '21.

And kinda why I feel like a crybaby even bringing up my frustrations with Whipple. I started looking at new trucks in 22/23 when the new tundras came out. I decided that platform wasn't for me, and started looking at good used Gen 2.5's last year. My wife asked why I was looking at new trucks. I had no idea, but I kept looking at pricing and deals in and around my area. She asked what was wrong with my '13, the answer to which was 'not a thing'. But this '21 popped up in December so I reached out to the salesman that I've worked with before to inquire about it (mostly to get it out of my system, thinking it didn't meet all my needs since it was listed as a long bed, so I'd be walking away). A few weeks later, I bought it, happy to be able to use it as a secondary vehicle so I didn't have to unload the bed of my other truck from time to time, but fully intending to keep driving the '13 daily and racking up the miles on that vehicle.

I kid you not - the day after I got a shell and bed slide installed on the '21, the Whipple crapped the bed (or rather made so much of a stink that I could tell it crapped the bed, even if the actual moment of self-defication happened weeks or months earlier). So on the one hand I feel incredibly blessed be in a position where I not only could afford the payment on another truck, but had said truck in my possession and setup with a bare minimum of gear to replace my '13 the moment it needed to be pulled out of service without so much as a day of interruption. On the other hand, it took a lot of time, money, and work to get the '13 set up EXACTLY how I needed and wanted, and even more time and money and work to get the '21 in to serviceable condition for what I do with it. So I'm just whining and complaining about having spend a bunch of money on a paperweight - even if it is temporary.

But I really am genuinely disenchanted with the Whipple charm, even if I do did enjoy the snot out of having in on my rig.

Then I see issues like @e30cabrio and @bflooks and have to wonder how petty I'm being about my own issues that pale in comparison.

That's the plan now. I appreciate your input via PM. I pulled the stock intake out of the box and started mulling through parts to get it all put back together.
