Some jabroni knocked mine off, couldn’t find the mirror on the ground. Are all the plastic doohickys in place to stick a new mirror on or do I need a whole new assembly?

Watch this a few times and see if you can tell if everything you need is still there.

Looks a little like your left-to-right adjusting pin is broken and gone.
You can see you still have the up and down pin.

What the mirror panel looks like.
The mirror 'snaps' in place in the middle, and the adjustment pins go into the little 'sockets'.

Based upon the condition of the internals of your side mirror and that you are in NH, my recommendation would be to just replace and get new ones. Make certain you select the defrost version and this is an opportunity to dechrome if that is your thing

    motorcyclist? Did you deserve it?

j/k i’ve read that mid 00’s dodge mirrors fit close enough to count & fold out for tow mode in case you’re looking to suck dicks or tow a trailer.

The OEM glass comes with new standoffs, if I recall right? I replaced my glass after a drive by incident. Posted pics of the OEM instructions and helpful install instructions on here, two or three times. It’s a bit tedious, but fairly doable. Make sure you get the specific part number for your truck. My AC had heated mirrors, so I had to buy heated glass.

Sick, I'll take a chance on buying the glass then.
    Thanks all

This whole thing might get me to check the heated mirror fuse. I've got the button but it doesn't light up. It's possible PO moved wires around inside so I never bothered looking into it

I don't see the wiring for heated mirrors.
If you pull the door panel and check the mirror plug and you'll see what's up.
R8 and R9 connectors, pin 2 power and pin 6 ground..
Surely if you have the switch, you'd have heated mirrors..

It’s entirely possible a previous owner replaced the glass with non heater, or replaced the housing entirely. Or maybe a fuse. Dunno!

Yeah…I was a little confused on the lack of wiring too. My whole truck is a work of “art”
Remember I’m the one with fog lights but the wrong turn stalk so…anything is possible :D

    Love her tho
