Thanks for the photos. @TurboKits and I were literally just talking about this topic late yesterday afternoon, so the timing of this discussion is impeccable. Seeing the upgrade through the basket makes a ton more sense to me now. Thx again

T1 Race Development (support for injector dynamics) is going to send me a mock up injector so I can verify fitment.

Just killing some time reading the posts on where I need to be. Alignment shop that bent my cam tabs and alignment was crap. Found out guy was fired and they are making it right. Hopefully will pay for the chaos cam tabs...

I think every product I've seen from them is complete shit, certainly for how expensive they are  but that's not to downplay your experience, maybe I've just been unlucky  and I'm just a mere mortal with a stock engine :D

I purchased their fuel system with 750cc injectors, Intake, and supercharger reservoir...the fuel kit had issues with the ports on the rails having to be re-tapped for the fittings to seat, the injectors were FID700's and only flowed at 750cc if you increased your fuel pressure, the intake didn't fit the Harrop and had to be modified, the intake shield didn't seal or keep any heat out, and their supercharger reservoir had a left-hand thread cap that was stripped and required filing to get screwed down properly also the outlet was below the inlet on the heat exchanger so it never filled correctly. On top of that, they did my supercharger tuning and constantly had issues that they blamed on me installing their fuel system. They enlarged the hole in the fender for better airflow and it was left jagged and unpainted, while doing that they moved the grounds to a spot that was left unpainted/unprotected and rusting. Every time I called asking for a status, they had something else they wanted to sell me, or some modification that was "necessary" to proceed. I wasted way too much money with them, and for the quality I can say without reservation that it was not worth it.

I think being fully transparent is absolutely critical good or bad. We pay an F ton of money on things why not provide factual info to the masses isn’t that why we’re all here in the first place?

Update -- Oil Analysis came back today -- appreciate them putting a rush on it:
"The aftermarket supercharger doesn't seem to affecting much, as wear metals look great next to universal averages ---
The oil itself is still in great shape for a longer run - the viscosity and insolubles show minimal oxidation, the TBN shows plenty of active additive in reserve, and the oil is free of any harmful contamination. You're kicking off this Toyota's file with a great report here"

Looks like I'm good to go to and move forward with National Speed
2,750 miles on this oil change - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0w-20 (not trying to start an oil thread war lol)

Nice to have some peace of mind.

FWIW, PuP came back with the best oil report on my truck compared to a few other off the shelf oils I tried when I installed the SC.

Agreed, just need to make sure we're not solely putting blame or attempting to out a company if you continue to use them and or their products or services for years then finally bitch and complain about it, that doesn't make sense to me. I talked to them about the one issue I had in common with @armyoffoo which was cap issues, they simply didn't catch that batch, that machining was not done in house. Sure quality control can always be better in every single product or company. When your trying to keep a business going or keep every single customer happy and it's as small a PS, without a doubt there will be some issues regardless of the cost of the product.

If you can't do or make something yourself we pay for it, especially custom work/aftermarket parts. There's going to be some trial and error. I know PS stands behind their work and will work with you and or make it right. They do great work and I personally appreciate the R&D they do for our platform and would hate to see our community turn a handful of small things into more then what it needs to be. That's all I'm trying to say.

I believe, based on my own experiences, it's difficult to find a for profit business in this niche market that is perfect. It seems they're either good at one thing or another, but not often a complete package if that makes sense. There are the unicorns that know their limitations and operate within them, though.

Value is what someone is willing to pay, right? I suspect they'd lower their prices if they needed to, but they don't owe us anything.

I've spoken to a few of you, but even other names aren't exactly perfect. What matters to me is if they stand behind their products and right their wrongs. The rest is just the cost of doing business in a niche performance market.

Just my .02 on the matter. The snjvs and (imo) the Jesse's are hard to come by. They almost operate as if the $$$ is a bonus and they're here for the love of the platform. We're spoiled by that.

Harrop support is amazing...they inspected my head unit, replaced the coupler and shipped it to SCOL on their dime, no billing for anything.

Just discovered this shift improvement kit from RatioTek, anyone else familiar? This is does not deal with with worn components, but alters shifts through springs and drilling larger oil passage holes in the separator/main plate in the valve body.

You just may have found the stiffer springs that IPT utilizes I. The c2/ b3 accumulators...and throw in the c3 one too.
    Saw this on tacomaworld
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ratiotek-transmission-upgrade-how-to.528378/

Seems like some good options between Sonnax/Transgo and RatioTek for a stout ab60. Of course we'll still have some HP limits. But good info for a DIY built valve body.
    Thanks again Brian!

The yellow springs install in the B2 accumulators in the main upper valve body. The other springs are for the boosters.

my only input is that I did have the RatioTek saved in my Amazon cart for quite a while when I had the Taco. Never pulled the trigger on it though.

And I guess it will go back on the list since the GX470 uses the same transmission
