I bet you got the wrong part. I wonder if zerk fitting are somewhat universal or standard?

The part he has looks very similar to this part here
    upload_2025-6-4_13-50-50.png

The only other fitting he could have needed is the fitting for the sleeve yoke. Notice how in the pic that fitting (red) almost looks as if it has threads vs the one he has (blue)

Thanks fellas. Poked around in the hole with a small Allen wrench and can’t feel any threads.

2nd one we ordered at dealer cause parts guy also thought it was the wrong part at 1st given no threads. Ima try pushing this in and see what happens.

Looks good. Does this make much of a difference? It seems sound would also be coming from the floorboards firewall windows. What is the best ROI?

That’s one of my favorite items to look for in used cars. I have two in my truck, two in the wife’s car and one in the kids car plus the Lexus one I found today.

With carpet and trim ring back in place. Will sand and refinish the top board and probably get a grille for it so a dog doesn’t accidentally step through it if I forget to drop the seat.

Would be better if that camber number was in the negative.

It can. Typically gotta be .5 or larger split.

.3 isn't really anything to worry about.

    Old specs but not bad.

The floor boards have some factory sound deadening on them. The door skins and the rear cab wall are big offenders. The roof is another one. It does make a difference, but it's not insulation, so it doesn't make it significantly quieter, it kills unwanted resonance that muddies the sound for the stereo. Once I get it back together and get my seat in, I'll report back.

Question, greasing UCAs and didn’t see grease come out along the washer edges like I usually do but did get it coming back out from around the zerk once i tightened the UCA bolt. IMG_1004.jpg
Curious if this has happened to others and it’s normal or maybe sign its time to change out the rubber washers in the UCA?…

Is it coming out of the zerk or the threads? Your potato pic looks like it’s coming from the threads….. tighten up the zerk or throw some tape on it

Some of the more stubborn zerks are either dirty and plugged, or need to be threaded out slightly to allow grease to get pumped into them.

Replaced radiator cap because I noticed the hoses were soft even at temperature. System now builds pressure like it should. Was randomly loosing coolant out of the overflow bottle.

Noticed A/C is leaking again at the drivers side connection to the condenser. Condenser and o rings were replaced two years ago. Not sure if the connection could have been weakened somehow by the timing belt replacement but it doesnt seem like it. Two steps forward, one step back?
