Agreed. Had mine installed for close to a year now and works great. I’ve forgotten all about that auto off feature of the truck. Just wish we could eliminate the dash icon.

    What’s wrong with stock?
Finally used the new bed mat. Stopped smelling after two weeks covered with a tonneau cover.

gotta wait for it to cure before I take some outside pics. Full paint correction and Ceramic coated the old girl. Also did the rims. Glad it’s done haha. Once a year touch up to keep it looking mint is all that will be needed.
    IMG_9641.jpg
made a bed divider. Added some e trac and some tie down. Cut a 2x4 so I can make a true divider if needed. Got some bed liner coming to paint it up and make it look half decent.

Let me ask the wife. Amazon I’m sure. Motion activated or can manually turn it on. Fits nice and snug in that opening. Still trying to decided how I’m gunna mount it long term. It comes with magnets but I need to come up with a way to mount it to the end of the retrax cover. Thinking about jb welding the magnets haha.

What kind of "tools" do you keep in there? :D:infantry:
Is the diff. vent relocation for keeping mud off of it or water crossings or? Now you have it tucked up behind the tail light?

Hunting truck so... Once the camper shell goes on it disappears. It's really nice when I'm traveling to hunt.
The diff vent relocation is for water crossings. Living in New Orleans I do more high water driving on road than off road. I've done this on my last 3 trucks. The Gen 3 was much harder than the Gen 2.5. I need to relocate the vent on my wife's 4 Runner.

Just installed my dash cam, thanks to your post for the inspiration! Already had the bulletpoint and was looking for excuses to add to it.

Installed Tig weld creations exhaust. Turbo noise galore, lol. Around town it’s noisy. Haven’t driven the freeway yet. Getting off the throttle you barely hear it. Idle it’s got a deep tone. Morning starts are enjoyable. I giggle every time.

Did you get the Standard or the XL?
    9" on the wheel width?
    Tire size?
    Thanks.

There’s videos on line. Videos don’t do justice. I switched it back to the factory tail pipe. With the dump tip it was rowdy. In a good way. Around town all you heard what exhaust. I did mash the go pedal. Got up to 95 and it sounded great. I’m not in high school anymore, lol. Turbo noise on take off was awesome. Coming to a stop you hear a slight popping from the exhaust…pretty cool even with the factory exit. More so with the dump tip.

Auto start/ stop disabled. Used the Amazon link on here. Took like 30 seconds to install. Added a tray organizer for the center console, got one coat of bed liner sprayed on the bed divider. Will get some pics when she’s all done.

I’m copying the description from earlier in this thread that the person who originally posted this shared:

The dash cam is the Miofive, turns onand off with the truck, screen goes dark after 30 seconds, auto-records on a loop. It does everything I need.Got it on Amazon.

I have a fitcam front and rear on the way. I put one in the wife’s gx550 and we love it. Looks cleaner then oem and takes no time to install. Expensive but worth it imo. Got a set of rear well liners ordered and shipped, and a 3rd printed front plate holder on the way. I’m done with mods…..

I had the RealTruck/Amp Research PowerStep Vision side steps put on my 2025 1794 Hybrid (mostly for my short wife :) )

They look really good/clean install. App kinda sucks but once I get it set I probably won't mess with it. Unfortunately, had to open a claim with RealTruck because the Driver's side step has a portion of LED's that are bad (always show incorrect color compared to the rest). The box when it was delivered from UPS looked like it had been around the world a few times. I wasn't home when it was delivered otherwise I might have refused it! After inspecting it, everything inside looked good to go (no damage and interior boxes all sealed) so went ahead with the install (had it done at a shop near me that sells these).

Here is a shot of the issue on the driver's side step (I'll post again when I hopefully get the issue cleared up and working 100%). Not sure if just the LED portion can be replaced or if the entire step would need to be replaced. We'll see what RealTruck says.

Well, this pic did it for me. My dash cam suction cup mount broke after a year of repeatedly popping off. Rather than buying a replacement mount, I decided to find a better solution and happen to see Spliffgates' post. I liked how it was a very clean set up. Liked it so much that I just bought a Bulletproof Rubigrid with mounts for my phone and dash cam. Can't wait to get my hand on it.

A few months later and I absolutely love mine. Only thing I would change is I would get the charging mount. When your iphone is connected to apple carplay the battery gets pummeled pretty quick.

no switch - at least nothing installed but I don’t think it comes with one? Everything is through the app. I’m sure a switch could be run though.
