New TRD vs old stock. Mine broke and I had to go fishing.

Another good cheap insurance part is the fuel cap. Bad seal can cause CEL

The TRD cap along with Toyota red coolant(not premixed) will give extra cooling range. Raises boiling point a little bit.

pop the cap off and give it a quick inspection. If anything have one ordered and leave it in the truck when you need it. There’s been other members like myself who chased overheating issues due to a broken radiator cap in the system

Anyone got a Memorial Day sales lead for king fronts probably 2.5 or mayybbbeeee 3.0s

Just looking for a small savings or maybe no sales tax. Ready to pull the trigger so a Memorial Day savings might push me in the right direction.

I can hook you up, no sweat! Shoot me a message with what all you're chasing, and we'll put some numbers together for ya!

I'll need to know if you still need UCAs, supporting materials for the rear suspension, etc.

Changed my oil yesterday and transmission fluid and I have a leak. Looks like high engine, rear main seal getting worse?

Are you actually showing pics of a 17 year old engine?

If yes, then you got nothing to worry about.

A tiny amount of oil will travel a loooong way.

You should not lose any sleep over this.

By the way it wraps higher up check your valve covers and that side of the block, if it was just at the bottom then I would say rear main but…

Actually second thought; 1. Again probably not rear main because it looks like coming from higher up

    2. when I pulled my trans years ago I thought I had a rear main before but it was actually leaking a little at the back of the upper oil pan, so when I put the new rear main gasket in I added some silicone and that fixed it (so you could have a similar problem and it’s leaking out the side of the bell housing)

Blacked out my dash and column piece on my 2010 RW. Multi step process of sanding, clean, adhesion promoter and then a flat black/texture paint. I like how it turned out. Time will tell how the texture/paint holds up. I think the only drawback might be dirt or spills. If it becomes an issue I just sand and paint with something different.

Installed my SOB Fab bumper today. Broke off a piece of the panel below the headlights so I'll have to address that before lighting.

If I could afford to convert the cluster to Red LED, I would put in some red accents.

Flushed the transmission on both trucks from the cooler return line. Ran about 16 quarts through both. The process on the 2010 was easier and less messy than the 2007. One has 273k and the other 213k. Hopefully flushing them won't be a mistake instead of drain and filling...they are both shifting buttery smooth now.

I swapped the mud terrains off one truck for a set of highway tires yesterday, but i havent driven it until tonight. Now i sounds like i can hear a bad wheel bearing. Dangit. :bananadead:

I only have one photo right now, but here's my 12 RW interior paint job. I didn't leave any silver/dark gray. I used some eBay TRD red carbon fiber to accent the rings on the dash cluster and around the base of the shifter. I also painted my shifter knob red. SEM paints and adhesion promoter.

I couldn't figure how to get rid of this last bit of silver and still keep the dial displays where the dash lights come through. A future project I guess. Eventually I want to replace the climate control nobs with the AJT design ones in black with the red "bolts".

The climate control knobs were an eBay purchase. The 4x4 knob was from Toyota parts department. If you search around the climate assembly can be had used for $60-$90 and the 4x4 knob can be had for $80 or so.

    Edit:
    eBay black climate assembl https://ebay.us/m/sHCFmY
