100% optional on Stage 2. Mind you, though, we're tracking IATs after compression, and we're running damn near ambient. He did a good job on his intercooler selection, whatever it is.

This all said, every ounce of heat MGMT is a good idea IMO. In fact, I am using the same sticky heat mat y'all are using to wrap the bottom of my stock intake manifold before it gets swapped over, just because it seems logical to do. I was initially also looking at the spacers for whatever performance gains they referenced, but they haven't responded to my requests for details, so I'm out on these, for now, until I need to upgrade the stock manifold.

For anyone running W/M, have that flippin' "recommended" solenoid installed!! 120 is a cheap investment to avoid my lessons learned.

I haven’t installed NOS or WM before and assumed they were something like 1/4” NPT fittings. The spacer material thickness would definitely be a concern for me and making sure it would seal. I appreciate the pointers.

And FOR SURE I would get the recommended solenoid..

And the Snow solenoids are $73...always have a filter installed, number one reason the check valves/solenoids fail=hydro lock.

IMO the solenoid is not optional. I did a quick test to compare the tank level vs the intake. Here is a video I posted that has all the install details including that test.

    You got that right.
I was in Seligman AZ last year at the route 66 fun run..
I was in line at the loud engine contest with the mustang..134db..
I turned on the nitrous bottle ( was going to hit the purge and spray it over the windshield.. Like fast and furious.
The spray lights up at night too)

When I turned the bottle on it filled the intake scoop with nitrous..
The NoS solenoid turned out to be broken inside and stuck open ..
    It's a 300 shot...

I know there has been a lot of talk on here about valve body upgrades but even with search, I'm struggling to find. Who is/are the best options for upgraded valve body?
    Thanks

IPT, Level10, and WAT are the players.

A good amount of us just purchased the WAT during the group buy.

do you happen to remember the dimensions of the blanket? not seeing it on their website and csp doesn't have any info either.
just trying to compare to the design engineering blankets as far as sizing for the price. blankets seems to be the same thing??

    thanks.

I don't recall what size it was before cutting it down, but I had plenty left over after covering the lower manifold of the blower. I want to say 18"x24", but not certain.

Made a jumper wire in place of the removed vsv relay. Confirmed fuel pressure has been bumped and is now in high pressure mode. Will switch to being boost referenced also before getting the tune revision done on 6/4. I need to run and get some more hose and a fitting for the boost reference connections to be made tomorrow.

Also, was able to confirm the whistle was coming from the trd accelerator and not the RCF throttle body.

Ordering up some snout bearings and now deciding if I should do a partial rotor rebuild with new needle bearings...hope the rattle is just in the snout.

Do you have a second air inlet hole into airbox or is all going through the air accelerator? Aka SABM.

I only added the trd accelerator to the airbox replacing the oem part. There is no second hole cut into the box. I did buy all the parts to cut a second hole and do the sabm, but I have not done anything with that just yet.

With the SABM I never noticed an increase in noise or whistle.

I have IPT valve body, it's great when accelerating and towing, but my 1-2 shift can be harsh at time, you can adjust the shift pressure but it requires removal of the valvebody and change the springs, its more work than most (or I) willing to take on. from second gear to 6th it shifts very beautifully, fast and crisp.

The hardest part is a comparison between all the ones available from other vendors, I would love one that has softer 1-2 shift.

Have you tried increasing torque reduction at the offending rpm?
You can also have it shift to 2nd at a lower rpm. I have mine setup to shift to 2nd about 200 rpm lower than stock.

Like from Drive/Reverse? like a normal car, I installed the valve body pretty early in the ownership, like few months in as I remember when stock it shifted like a 90's Dodge.

Removing the torque reduction actually helped, when it was first supercharged it was pretty terrible, like it'll chirp tires during shift.

Picked up some vacuum hose, coupler, and a t-fitting for boost referencing. Can someone confirm this is correct? I unplugged the vacuum line from the intake tube and capped it off. The line that was unplugged I used a coupler on and extended it into a t-fitting between the blower boost port and the MAP sensor. Pictures are not the best, but hopefully show what I did.
