Can you post a pic or two of the actual spring and shock installed?

Washed, clay barred, polished, and Adam’s Graphene coating today. I’m always happy and sad after a job like this. I’m happy with how shiny and good it looks and sad because I know the first rainstorm will water spot it!!

Hi guys. Been lurking for a while. I’ve got a 2023 SR5 and I recently bought a tonneau cover and Wild Peak AT4 tires for it. I wanted to do bigger wheels and tires but going to wait some time to save up the money for it…

    EDIT:

Guess I should have mentioned I also replaced a window after someone broke in and stole my backpack with my laptop and tools. Hope whatever they got from that helped them out. :/

Bummer about the window and theft. :( Thieves suck.
On the subject of: good advice, too late for you, but maybe not for others:
    2 things.
    Dark tint.
Any and all loose valuables on the floor, not on the seat. (Assuming that's where you had your backpack...could be wrong.)
Better yet, throw a jacket or hoodie over the top of whatever.
Better-better yet, store in the underseat rear storage (If non-HV and you have room.)

Anything to keep said valuables out of sight.

Black is definitely the best Tundra color. Looks great. What front grill is that?? It’s close to my Platinum but slightly different?

It’s the factory grill for the 2024 1794 Limited Edition, I do believe it’s based on the Platinum grill.

Another great idea I found on this forum. Replaced the thumb nut from factory tie downs with a nyloc nut so it would fit under my tonneau. We will see if I have to move them.20250523_174405.jpg

How's the dash cam treating you and what size extension arm with the extra ball did you go with? I'm might be down for your setup plus one more magsafe mount on the passenger side.

Agreed. I grew up with my dad always telling us not to leave anything visible in the car or better yet do not leave it at all. I remember as a teenager my friends and I had all our jackets stolen out of my friends car. One of the features I enjoyed the most out of my old Silverado, the locking under the seat box because yes it could be broken into but between hiding items there, locking it, and dark windows most thief's would probably move on to other easier pickings like an iPad or laptop sitting on someone's seat in plain sight.

    What’s wrong with stock?
Got tired of all the wires when charging. A bit pricey. Spent the money. No regrets.

The suspension upgrade is clearly the star here, but WOW that's a really cool shot of the lighting!

How’s the ADS suspension I have those vs the Kings, any initial impressions?

Decided to go with 15% on back windows and legal tint (I think 32%) on the front windows. My last truck had 5% all around and I got tired of it, maybe just getting old lol.

So far they’ve been riding really nice but I will need to take them off road to really find out. I need to fine tune the adjusters too, currently have them on the softest setting. I heard ADS has more clicks of adjustability. I was also looking at Kings but decided on ADS because they were different and local to me. I’ve got friends with the kings, would love to compare them back to back especially on the trails.

Dash cam is fine. I don't mess with it much. It turns on with the truck and starts recording automatically. No complaints.
Here's my order from Bulletpoint. Got it all on black Friday - magsafe phone holder & then the mini mounting arm with 2 extra ball mounts for the dash cam. Super sturdy, looks cool, love it.

Haha not sure, when I joined the Army a buddy of mine had 5% all around his Silverado along with tint on whole windshield and a very wide strip across the windshield. I drove it once at night and could barely see out.

Edit: Forgot to mention he was from California.

Please enlighten me as to why so many like to do this exhaust mod. It makes no sense to me...

Installed a Backwoods Adventure Scout Bumper and a Carbon Off-road 12K winch.
I chose these due to the light weight. The Scout bumper weighs 58lbs. It consists of a winch tray, two frame caps with tow points and an aluminum bumper front fascia. The tow points mount directly to the frame horns and poke through the bumper. The winch weighs 42lbs.

The factory crash bar weighs 26lbs and the front valance+plastic frame weighs 3.75lbs combined. So add 100lbs, then subtract 30lbs. I lost 1" out of the front fender height. Don't notice the weight on the front driving or accelerating.

I had to make a relocation bracket for the control box.

I think it's because they take their trucks off-road and they don't like the low-hanging OEM exhaust tailpipe.
