I was curious cause we had the truck on the lift and I couldn’t remember what the droop looked like stock.

this is ~1” compressed as the truck was coming down.

This is the truck parked at Loveland pass, though you could hardly prove it.

Love being in CO, haven't been in a few years.

That's where I'd live if I didn't have to move away from all my family, oh and also made $1M a year.

the best spots, you have to move 3 miles every 2 weeks. Bet it could be done for less than $100/week for each person.

    Hey everyone,

Does anyone know the exact part number or a source for the rear parking cable on a 06 double cab? Mine seems frayed and overall the parking break is super weak. Drum breaks are on the to-do list but it seems like the best time to replace the cable too.

Bought the truck back in late Feb and have been trying to sort it out as weather allows in the PNW

I looked up part number 46420-0C050 but that's superceded by 46420-0C051 which is listed as discontinued by some dealers and available at others with less compatibility info.

Did you look up that part number using EPC? https://www.tundras.com/threads/howto-use-the-toyota-parts-system-to-find-order-parts.113808/

It's under Transmission & Chassis top-level section, 'Parking brake & cable' subsection.

I just looked at Toyota's national site suggests the part ending '51' you just provided for DC is discontinued, but the part ending '41' for the shorter AC/RC axle housings is still available. Chances are Toyota will discontinue the AC/RC cable soon too. The sites you're finding online selling it either have old stock, or are using the old Toyota Parts system for their parts portal which doesn't always reflect inventory accurately.

The Dorman kit for DC trucks has been well-received by those on the forum that've used it, FYI. For any AC/RC readers checking this reply, the Dorman e-brake cable assembly for your trucks guys is this part, assuming you don't want to pay for the OEM Toyota Part for AC/RC, or it's disco'd.
