Greetings! Thought I would share this info. After taking my 2006 in for the valve cover gaskets, I informed them that the front end would make a small clunk at the end of braking and while starting out on an incline. They "inspected" and told me the front pads were worn and they were probably flopping around in the caliper. They wanted $200
I bought pads, did it myself but the noise remained.
Turns out I had a couple caliper bolts not torqued all the way AND the transmission mount that has 4 bolts was missing one and the others were loose. Tightened the 3 up and no noise now.
Hope this helps someone in the future.
    Cheers!

    Greetings @mavityre.

Glad you got it solved. It was absolutely the transmission mount. We cover that problem HERE with tons of other problems, it's a very well-known issue.

Thing is, that issue usually happens because the crossmember is physically cracked. Toyota has a TSB out for it. The only permanent solve is to replace the crossmember if cracked, or it'll happen again. Sometimes the cracks are hairline and you may not immediately see them. That thread I just linked with "HERE" takes you to the TSB and is also linking you with a picture of how invisible the cracks can be to spot.

Yup. Had the same issue when I first got the truck. It was the transmission mount bolts. Except I had 3 of the 4 missing. About the fastest fix you can do.
