Rear wheel speed sensor harness

2004 toyota tundra 4.7 v8 limited 4wd
Replaced my rear wheel speed sensors and mustve messed up the wire while trying to remove the old sensor. Only replaced because i had them on hand, ended up throwing the old sensors back on after the abs light came on but still have an abs light and no spedometer.
Need the part and hopefully some advice on replacing the harness.

I didn't think the speedo was tied to the ABs sensors in the pre-VVTi (i.e. '00-04) trucks?

Not bolting the sensors in perependicular, so they can properly read the tone ring, will cause ABS to mis-fire and potentially cause codes. The tone ring must be properly pressed to ensure it's fairly well-place in the sensor window (this is something people fuck up often). There cannot be debris in the tone ring or on the sensor. The sensor must be centered in the hole properly. The O-ring for the sensor needs to be intact and not mangled.

That last paragraph is everything we've seen people fuck up on here related to the ABS sensor.

2004 Access cab owner here. My speedo ultimately gets its signal from the rear ABS wheel sensors. Those rear wheel sensors feed a signal to the ABS box (that’s bolted to the abs pump), then from there it goes up to the speedometer gauge. I’m wondering if all the 2000-06 ABS equipped trucks have the same rear sensors? While the all the non-ABS trucks speedometer gauges gets its signal directly from the sensor that’s in the side of the transmission (2wd application) or transfer case (for 4wd application)?

 

I swear @Tundra2 has ABS on Crackie, but gets speedo input from the transmission.

And maybe it’s just where the signal is interpreted, but Yellowbox install on the ‘05-06 with the 5AT trans and different cluster is significantly more difficult. I don’t recall why.

The guys that installed my new leaf packs pinched my DS rear ABS wire and my light is on now on my dash. My speedo currently works fine.
