You are going to have to scan it to determine what codes are present. You can’t guess on what the cause may be, you just end up wasting time and money replacing good parts. You can download Techstream on a laptop but will need an interface. Do a search for “Techstream”, lots of info.

Thank you sir. Is the code reader at Autozone or O'Reilly advanced enough to read a code given that the CEL is not on?

Are you thinking of going in and getting a free scan? I don’t have any experience with what they are using. Most of the cheap code readers are just reading generic OBD2 information and can’t read manufacturer specific codes.

Yes sir that was my initial thought but don't want to waste my time if the generic code readers won't pull up Toyota specific codes. Will probably try it when I get a few free minutes.

I would still go in and have them scan it. Maybe the scanner they are using can pull up manufacture codes. It’s free so what do you have to lose.

You can download Techstream for free but you will need an interface. Cheapest one that works is around $60.

P0302 Cylinder #2 misfire. Oddly enough, I have previously seen this on the internet to be the issue causing VSC OFF/Traction Control with one or two other Tundra owners. Some say the issue was cured while others had lights come back on shortly after replacing coil pack. I'm not sold that this will resolve the issue but will give it a try.

It might be worth the time to swap the #2 coil to another cylinder to see if the coil might be the issue, or something going on at the cylinder.

Clear all the codes and see what comes back. Most are ghost codes that come up. If the P0302 comes back pull the spark plug out and have a look at its condition. If it looks fine, swap the plug with number 4 plug and see if the code follows the plug or stays with the cylinder.

Don’t assume it’s a coil. Most common reason for misfires are spark plugs.

Cleared the codes and all three came back. Misfire on #2 confirmed and replaced coil/plug and that code is gone. Still getting C1201 and C1310.

Pickup runs fine and I am unable to tell there are any issues when driving at any speed. Apparently, the VSC OFF and tractions control lights have been on for quite some time according to my son.

Codes starting with C are communication codes. The C1201 and C1301 are both abs related codes. Techstream would tell you if the abs module is online.

Dont throw out the ignition coil you replaced. There is a chance it was just the spark plug. If you purchased an aftermarket ignition coil you may need the original.

    13 Honda Civic 270k,
Having some vibration, shaking, issues at 18 to 22mph, 33 and 49mph. I had a pending code for an input turbine sensor which was causing a shake on the passenger side, once replaced, shaking started on the driver side. Don't have any additional codes. I'm going to take it to the tire shop for balancing check, and considering strut replacement since shake becomes most apperanent on rough roads and turning.
Like the weight shift is upsetting the balance of the vehicle. Haven't purchased anything but considering RA Mevotech front end overhaul with suspension replacement.
    what else would you suggest?

Honda? I’ll take a stab at it. You didn’t say wheee the shaking is coming from. Is it in the steering, does it shake when you brake and does it shake the whole vehicle. Shaking is always an unbalanced rotating part. That said struts and suspension do not cause shaking. Vibrations and shakes could be from CV axles, brake rotors, rotating powertrain components, tires and rims.

My bad. Shakes the whole car, sometimes is negligible other times it gets real, but shakes the whole car only on the speeds mentioned. No shaking while braking. Brakes bite hard though.

So, I'll get the wheels rebalanced then have the axels checked
