Just acquired a new radio/head unit - Kenwood DDX5707S, and am also installing a rear view (backup) camera. Looking for advice, and/or an easy-to-read wiring schematic for the parking sensor wire and the reverse sensor wire.
    • The Parking Sensor Wire instructions say to connect to the vehicle's parking brake detection switch harness
    • The Reverse Sensor Wire instructions say to connect to the vehicle's reverse lamp harness.
I'm looking to see if these wires run through the cab so I can tap into them. I don't want to drill holes, or feed more wires through the bushing under the driver's seat if I don't have to.

Any help is appreciated - thanks!

Everything you need to know is in the "Audio, audio upgrades and cameras..." section of this thread, which should always be your first go-to before posting a thread on "how do I...?" --> https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

All the info you need to:
    • Install a camera, including wire pass-thru points and wiring options for the camera
    • Install aftermarket stereo, wiring, amp bypass, and everything you need to know before getting started
If there's something you find missing, by all means, would love to hear it. That thread is an ongoing community-info project we've been working on for a while now.

Don't be a douche! Don't cut factory harnesses, and ONLY use Positaps, never use the smash-down T-taps or wire taps to hook your camera into power.
