Last Saturday I inquired at the parts & service department on having them install the TRD lift kit in my 2025 Tundra 1794 4WD.
Sexy gal hit me with a text later....thought it was an invite....wish I'd have seen it earlier and responded quickly.

She checked in with her people and got back with me on Monday with the actual price....keep in mind this was just for parts & labor for the TRD lift only. No wheels....no tires.

    NO THANKS.

    IMG_5053.jpg

I forget which day it was....but I came home from a long workday and a Husky box was tucked inconspicuously on the front porch.
Delivery guy did well positioning it out of view.

I have today off. Will vacuum the truck and drop these in place.

Been thinking about purchasing these. Had a set in my last truck and currently in our 4R. Post a pic when installed.

    I sure will.

Gotta get a move on....been lazy this morning. First day off after damn near 60hr workweek crammed into the last four days.

    LAF this morning.

Two mugs & protein shake down the hatch.....all that caffeine and I'm barely awake.

I installed my Husky mats last week. Love them. Just waiting on my custom decals from Etsy!

Husky > Weathertech. I sent my WT's back after very poor fit. Love the Huskys and theyre holding up great.

I had great results with some tan WeatherTech's in a 2007 Frontier 4WD that I drove hard for 11 years.

My 2017 Tacoma SR5 had really good factory mats that were more comfortable (softer) than those prior WeatherTechs, though.

I wish Tuxmat had been in stock. Hell, I may grab a set of them when available and give these to a buddy who drives a Tundra.

I had good look with WT liners before as well...the ones I got and some other people got around the same time, were horrible. Might have been a bad first batch, but it was enough for me to say no thx.

The WTs in my 2012 were great. I like that the Huskys in my '25 are a little more pliable and have excellent coverage. Not to mention, cheaper.

The coverage comparison is remarkable. And you gotta love that softer feel from the X-Act Contour material- makes getting the mats in and out a bit easier for a quick clean up. Thank you for sharing these images! I hope you're enjoying your new Husky floor liners!

I have this one on my 2024 Platinum. I like it. Had not tried others so nothing to compare to.

Damnitman......I gotta quit looking at gear for my Tundra.

I just popped a chubby when I read up on this dash mount system for driver and / or passenger phone holders, radar detector mounts, etc.

Got one about a month or so ago, quality built.

Went with the magcharger, much better than truck wireless charger.

Just picked up up a set of Go Rhino RB20 slim running boards for the wife, until I decide what sliders I am going with and order then wait for fabrication and shipping and then install them.

Grabbed from a member here. Great guy!

PXL_20250426_172708063~3.jpg Had the Eibach springs installed. 1-1/2" front, 1" rear. Perfect height now in my opinion for the OEM+ look I'm after. Not gaudy, but you can tell it's not stock height. Pairs very well with the almost-35's.

Always on 12 volt cig lighter on dash. Thanks @Goobax for the plug
GPS power at bulletpoint switched but direct to Blue Seas fuse block. I still use an old school Garmin
Light bar and rear lights pre-wired for future bumper and camper shell

I spliced in to the switch lights using the wiring attached to the dummy plugs.
I made the existing firewall plug a grommet by cutting out the center.
I crossed the engine bay under the plastic cowling
I didn't have the correct size terminal for the fuse block to battery connections, so next week
Now I need to figure out where to pick up the Canbus for high beams so I can install the reader I bought20250426_132128.jpg 20250426_162054.jpg 20250426_162124.jpg 20250426_162044.jpg 20250426_162116.jpg 20250426_162113.jpg

I have a few things planned, front and rear bumpers, winch, electrical and lighting upgrades. Still deciding on exactly what.

I installed the reader behind the glove box and ran the three wires through the firewall gasket on the right side. Had to pull the dash apart. Pretty intimidating in concept but actually pretty easy. I think I had the glovebox out in about 10 mins.

Just behind that blue dot is the firewall gasket. That's just behind the ECU where the reader is attached to the low and high beam wires
Wired the canbus 12V red into the 12V hot coming out of the relay, then wired the canbus trigger back into the 12v hot going to the dash switch.
