Denso only for ignition coils and either Denso or NGK spark plugs (it’s in the owners manual).

Denso is always my go to if available and NGK is my second choice.

I've used both recently, denso coils to fix my tundra's misfire, and NGK spark plugs to fix a rav4's misfire. Both were about a month ago and work great

Chiming in to agree with Bill here ...

Spark plugs: Back of the owner's manual. Toyota recommends NGK or Denso. I went with Denso Iridium, I normally go NGK on all other engines small and large. For best operation, stick with what Toyota recommends at the Specifications section of your owner's manual. Courtesy, I'm posting the pertinent page of your manual below.

Coils: Denso is your best bet. And DO NOT buy them on scAmazon, fleaBay or WallyMart, you're liable to get very authentic-looking counterfeits, same with the spark plugs, it's happened to members here and two other forums I've been on for eons now. Use Summit Racing, or Rock Auto, both have a verified supply chain and often beat scAmazon pricing. A number of members have had issues with aftermarket, even major-name-brand like MSD. Nobody is doing QA/QC on aftermarket products worth a shit anymore. Manufacturers just don't care, they buy as cheap as possible from warehouses in China and India, throw it in a box, and expect the consumer to return it if they can prove it's not working right.

Do yourself a favor. Read our community info thread.
