For some reason the little extra helps with shifts/p2757 /torque converter lockup which makes no sense. Some ab60's respond to it others no difference.

Initially I was having pretty hard 1-2, 4-5, and F-R shifts. I tweaked fluid levels three or four times trying to get rid of them. After the first 5k miles, the 4-5 hard shifts have totally disappeared, and the others mellowed a little. But after the drain/fill, they got significantly better. I will probably do another in another 5k just to see if it changes further.

What’s the final fluid qty with the deep pan and drain and fill and what not? Starting to prep myself for this endeavor.

    Same.

I don't get worked up anymore.

4-5 qts comes out. Most of a 5 qt jug gets pumped in.

    Will repeat in 25-35k miles.

    Pushing 275k miles. I'm happy.

I bought x18 qt's and used x10, which included the check drip that started as a deluge... I'm going to put x1 additional qt in when I throw the cat plates back on...~1500 miles before that happens...

On a side note...things are getting more serious since this showed up!

Did you get that from the eBay seller? I would have shipped you mine to use if you needed one. I think @e30cabrio has the same puller also.

Double-checking my Haltech configuration, does this look right? The axes are limited to the number shown, so I can't add any additional values. I just want to make sure I don't screw anything up in the base configuration.

I found out that with the Haltech in a piggy back configuration, the stock ECU still controls the throttle body. I'll need to keep it until I can test moving that functionality over to being controlled on the 2500.

All good! Keep us posted on that trans upgrade. I’m curious how that Haltech does as well

Does anyone have information on our crank/cam trigger system? Haltech doesn't have ANY information for the 3URFE...I opened a ticket, and the dude said this was the first time he'd been asked about it. I should be able to figure it out with the Oscilloscope once I hook everything up but wanted to get as much configured as possible.

Trans should be here Tuesday, then I can get the TCM removed and shipped out to CANTCU for bench flashing. The 8HP/CANTCU harness will be a few weeks, but I'll be waiting for the TCM as well so no rush there. I should be able to configure it at my desk before I get the harness.

Here is the Boomslang wiring documentation, and some screenshots of what I have configured so far in the Haltech Elite 2500. Adjustments for fueling and dwell are specific to the 8AR coils and Five-O 750cc injectors. Knock frequency is based on 94mm piston size.

**Note, I haven't adjusted any of the values in the base fuel or base ignition tables, only the axes for RPM and MAP**

Not a bad thought but you also reminded me to grab the 90’s and delete the thermostat from the transmission since I’m going to be in there.
