    So I learned a lot
But the first lesson was if it starts to rain while the wife is helping you. DO NOT COVER YOUR MILWAUKEE tool first. Take care of the wife.

Back to the D rings you have to invert the D rings so that the back part is against the tailgate because the molding of the bed won’t allow you to turn them the other way. Now, after that, I added a stainless washer underneath the D ring with a nylon washer in the middle. Both were thin and gave just enough elevation off the bed of the truck to rotate the ring on the tie down

I used a die to clean the threads of the bolts but the head of the bolts has some spray liner on them and they may look funky.
In hindsight i should’ve waited to cut the mat in the bed but i can live with this for now

    Looks good!

Honestly.... I probably would have covered the tools first as well :anonymous: my wife is waterproof and will dry out

Question, without the bed mat, how flush is the d-ring to the ribs in the bed?

In the direction I have them FLUSH

Had to downsize one Milwaukee box for pliers and suck but it works with clearance and my compressor sits on the other side no problem

got those straps from homedepot they don’t reverse unless you depress the tab and they are low profile

Are you able to get TPMS readouts on your Banks I-Dash?

Does air still blow out of the vent around the gauge?

    Thanks!

    Afternoon Sir

air still blows and I confirmed with banks before purchase that having the gauges installed in the vents would not be an issue.

I haven’t been able to find TPMS on those gauges but I get them on my alpine unit.
And it shows a lot as well

    I hope this helps you
I’ve been learning a lot myself on here and I have new plans in motion now for front bumper
And Warn ZEON XD 10-S - 110010 winch with S8 30” light bar. It took me some time but I got it on paper now based off others experiences

so anything I can do to help you don’t hesitate

    Thanks for the info!

Did you get the vent mount from Banks as well?

I did not get the mounts from banks
I got them off Amazon and I was looking to try to get you a link but I don’t see them anywhere
    I will keep searching though

    on a budget brother
there is no matching set for the rear if you keep the 18" wheels. I am not going to the big wheel design.
I tired other rotors for the front and would have been happy with that route but they never came , and i was very
i abreast of the backorders and such.
it came down to i wanted to go a different way than most.. Alcon I heard makes really good stuff but
i' just wanted to try these out and spoke to the wife about it after ordering them..lol

maybe i am just not ready to take that lifting leap. I've seen some amazing lifted tundras but for me the height is good and high enough.

With the Lord to help, they will arrive and i will do them myself (seriously contemplating not though)

    On a differnen note.

I do have the front bumper but because of the price of the brake..lol
its going to have to wait for a winch and light bar before installation.

    Rear hydro bumps
Quick Question to you guys.. I saw some hydro bumps and wanted to know if there is any reason to have them if you
are not lifted? I do tow my bass boat but..

Hydro bumps are amazing for soaking up big hits. If you're routinely hitting your factory bumps you'd like them, but they're more of a high speed off road item, in my opinion. They're also the last line of defense before bottoming out.

Are you still on your stock leaf pack and shocks? If so, I'd spend money on new leaves and shocks before the hydro bumps. You can have the leaf pack made for the weights you typically carry and probably avoid the need for hydro bumps. Some adjustable shocks will help you tune damping and help with controlling the compression stroke.

Or add a RAS (roadmaster active suspension) from @memario1214. Easy to install and will help when towing the boat. Cheaper than the hydrogen bumps as well.

Just got mine installed this last weekend. Takes the sag out for sure and stiffens it up a bit. Towing this weekend so will see how well it does.
