Which one of these do you have because I’ve been seriously contemplating one. Between the rzr, k5, tundra, and Durango, I could certainly use a lift of some kind.

I used the ChatGPT app. These are the screen grabs of what I asked for to get the picture to give you an idea of what you can do.

Mine is from Atlas. Regardless, they can have 10 different names, they all are made by the same companies.

I see a lot on this graphic, but where are the posts for the lift? What am I missing?

This is what I’ve been thinking for when I build my shop. It’s going to be a combo woodworking and truck wrenching shop so putting a 2-post in the middle just doesn’t work. And my FIL had a two-post and it was frustrating for all the reasons you just mentioned.

Yup, sorry about that...the blue rectangles represent the columns for the 2-post...north west corner (upper lefthand). I poured 12" concrete in the upper left "quadrant" of the shop so I had the entire area to make adjustments on lift placement. One only needs thicker concrete than 6" if it's new construction; concrete older than 3 years will be cured and hard enough to work. Having taller ceilings allows you to use the "Z" axis for storing cars, too...I'd consider a 4-post with movable posts for the $600 up charge so if you need, you can move it around outta the way.

Well mentioned this is the supercharger thread but I’ll mention here for the masses that were following the recent trip. Just before the planned trail run we hurt the tundra motor so it’s time for a built unit.

Still forming a plan on parts etc so more to come there. The buggy ran awesome and just needs some tweaking and updates. Not the outcome I wanted and the wife’s definitely not happy but it is what it is when pushing this platform.

So you pull in between the columns so they are still blocking your doors? What's the advantage of making it catty corner in the garage/shop?

I gave it much thought. I just could not bring myself to install my 2 post lift at an angle. My OCD would not allow it.

My only requirement was having enough distance to pull the wall side axle.

First detail in over a year. Of course the trees were fornicating faster than I could wipe it so it’s still a lovely shade of greenish blue but she cleaned up good for a 7yr old truck. 800 mile round trip this week so figure I might as well do it in style. Turbo tune is pretty much dialed in solid (although I may bump it another psi) so I’m looking forward to setting the cruise and letting her run.

I really need to bust out the clay and buffer but I just can’t bring myself to do it. Not when it’s 90*. Always worth it though.

It wasn’t for the shop and portacool I would be hard to convince to do it. I’m not running the water in the fan yet this year, but it’s getting close.

I’m waiting on a quote for a dual zone mini split for the shop.

    What part of central Texas?
