Flex tape works pretty well for small leaks on single rack commercial dishwashers...

Might have worked really well on a certain someone's miata soft top too...

My stubby antenna works fine when I've tested it but I rarely listen to the radio. Who does that?

Right? The only time I listen to the radio is when I don't have my phone for some reason.

A stubby was installed on my truck by the PO and I still have never used the radio or tested it out, hah. I have no idea how well it works or even if it works at all.

Wife thinks I'm super weird just sitting in silence if I'm not listening to a podcast when driving. I told her this is how I figure out how good or bad the truck is running.

My bed is just a bit rusty along the bottom edge. Super easy to fix since you never really see it, but make sure it's not jagged before you try to lift the bed up with your hands! Depending on the type, I might be interested in that tonneau cover.

I finally won the battle with the front diff plug, I almost lost hope but I pushed on and persevered. I also flushed the power steering fluid following the step by step thread, worked perfectly and seems to be quieter now.

    airflow vs light.

my foam ‘curtains’ arent quite tall enough. I can leave em be, and block maximum light, i can trim the bubblewrap, and add feet to the foam to raise it enough to let light in the bottom, or i can combine the 2 and have an ambidextrous foam wall that’ll fit either side & i can eat my cake, and have it, too.
    IMG_0574.jpg

if i trim the corner off my big table i can get it to block one side.

Better be careful, @455h0le_dachshund is gonna think it's a coffin, and you'll never be able to get him out of the back of your truck again.

Polo’s the one i’m worried about. When he gets in there, he wont get out. Wont even get out if i start the truck, gotta put it in gear and roll.

That's a good pup, wants to go everywhere with you. He knows that's his rolling house, you're just the bus driver.

I cant get a pic, but he scratched the shit oughtta my drivers side tint when he was a baby. Luckily, it was a phase.

has anyone with sliding cap windows found a way to reach the latch from the back? I’d like to be able to pull a string with one hand while sliding the window forward with the other. Guess i need to glue a pivot or something to the latch.

@Sirfive I've never thought about that, and i'd be worried I would snap the clips trying to yank on it with something rigged up that way. They seem pretty weak and would snap without much effort.

You could defeat the latch. Mine has enough friction holding it in place that the latch is mostly unnecessary to keep rhe window closed. Then you could slide it open from inside the bed.

Yea, i usually only close it to before the latch, but after 4 hrs its open .5-1”. If i’m on dusty gravel roads it wants to open about 4”.

I dont feel real heat on the cardboard or the direct sun bubblewrap. Only on the aluminum window frame.

I have no choice but to until I get a new stereo installed, i could always dust off my CD case and shuffle through the pages trying to find something to listen to like back in high-school days. I do listen to local sports radio when driving sometimes as well

If he's happy with how it tracks on the open road, and he's not rubbing, I'd stick with the numbers shown, but that's just me.
