Think im going to remove my aftermarket amp and use this method since the kenwood and the Dasaita have the same wattage ...

Did you retain proper fade ability (i may have asked this already) by doing this?

I messed with the settings a bit in the amplifier app on the Dasaita unit and everything seemed to do what its supposed to.

I have the ixl f511 from trail grid pro. Had issues after install where my door speakers sounded like garbage. They never called me back to try and address my issue so I began messing around in the settings and reset my audio settings in the mastro and it sounds much better. I’m going ti do this bypass trick and switch power to the HU.
Question - at some point I’m going to add a 4 channel amp, can I at that point just run RCA’s from the HU, or will I have to re-do my bypass harness?

Is the factory amp still powering the sub? Thanks!

My trim did not have a factory sub. The amp was powering the door speakers. Now after the bypass my alpine head unit is powering the door speakers. I did add an amp and subs.

So I have a 14 Tundra CM and just installed the Dasaita G13 head unit and everything works but my front speakers and dash speakers. I got the bypass harness and matched up everything but when I plugged it in it got worst any idea what could have went wrong. My back door speakers are jamming at the moment.

Make sure the center dash speaker is unplugged. Is it JBL or non-JBL?

I mean just barely when I mean barely it’s like volume 1. But the rears are better than ever that’s why I thought using the bypass would work but it was low all around when using harness

    Check the simple things first:

-check HU & make sure sound is not faded to the rear

-check the wiring for the bypass harness. Verify you didn't cross some of the wires for the front (positive w/negative, etc)

-check the connections behind the new HU

Have you tried using the factory amp with the new HU? & If so, does it sound normal/more balanced all around the vehicle?

Yes I have done this all. Factory amp only the rear speakers works and it bad ass. Fronts and dash sounds maxed out on volume 1. With the bypass harness all around sounds like volume on 2. Idk at this point I assume just running new wires to each and changing them out. Idk

The dash speakers are powered from the HU.
The front doors from the underseat amp, when it was there.
The amp bypass should have both front and rear doors running from the HU.

You did omit the OEM undereat amp, correct?
You can use these diagrams to make sure you did the bypass correctly..
You may have crossed some wires which would have messed up the entire front speaker output, dash and doors.

The front signal goes out the HU and splits to the dash speakers and the OEM amp then to the front doors.
Maybe try unplugging the amp bypass and see if the dash speakers are working.

    upload_2025-4-12_23-19-41.pngupload_2025-4-12_23-20-5.png

For the rear the signal goes out the HU and splits to the rear tweeters and then the OEM amp to the rear doors.

    Does everything work OK?

Back in the day we had to make our own harness adapters...

No not yet when using the bypass harness I barely hear anything on max. So at the moment I’m just using the rear speaker which works fine.
