I guess I just need wire which ever color pin 6 is to the ACC or ignition and ignore the wire for pin 10.

I don't think mine even has it. Pretty sure it's just auto dim and compass. I just want the compass, really. The only time I dim the mirror is when some asshat behind me has their brights on, or is running HIDs in a halogen housing.

I noticed a small puddle of coolant under Penelope after I got back from the gym this afternoon. Looks like it's coming from one of the plugs in the bottom passenger side of the radiator. I wonder if that's just an o-ring I can replace or what?

Got some pics. Lots of places the coolant made its way onto, but I think that's from driving and the fan.
    20250408_171107.jpg 20250408_171223.jpg
I think the source of the leak is around here. That's about where the puddle is below.
    20250408_170954.jpg

I'm guessing a new radiator is in my future,.but til then,. I'm open to suggestions on bandaids.
    Sawdust and an egg? Lol

I'll definitely keep a jug of coolant in the truck for T2S.

Impossible to tell where it's leaking from those pictures. Your engine bay is the stuff of nightmares for me too. It would be easier to tell where it's leaking from if your shit didn't look like it did a few tours in Afghanistan.

Actually, in the second picture it looks like it's leaking from higher up, then dripping down. I wouldn't want to drive it to T2S with it leaking that much.

Is the cap to tank crimp wet here? That’s where they like to fail. Also those factory spring clamp things gave up the ghost on my truck long ago.

I put a Gates hose in that position and replaced the stock spring clamp with a stainless screw type and had trouble getting it to not leak. Gonna put a Toyota hose on when it's delivered..

Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing. What's weird is I ran the engine for a few minutes and couldn't find the leak. Turned it off and went inside to eat dinner. When I came back out the puddle was fresh. The radiator and reservoir are full still.

I've seen a couple of YT videos on changing the carrier bearing and it seems pretty easy/straightforward. Both of them did it in like 15 mins no cuts. Curious if you've seen/know the difficulty level. Looks like 6 bolts pop it off pop it in and you're good. I want to start working on my vehicle myself more so just nervy as a beginner :)

Carrier bearing is pretty straight forward. Just pay attention to the orientation of everything and lube it before reinstall.
It's 6 bolts and one big ass nut. Pay attention to the washers

When I have had to work on the tailgate latch assembly. I found zip ties in place of the orange and purple clips. I also noted that the trim around the handle had a slather of epoxy holding the outer handle trim on...

I'm dealing with POS and my center bezel trim... The lights for the temperature controls are non functional so I'm going to LED them. I found that the fan speed switch cover was broken in the past and super glued back on. I got it off without breaking anything. The three screws behind the control knobs were present and removable. The two behind the vents were omitted. I can't pull the trim bezel like I should be able to.

Any suggestions to where the epoxy was applied?

I usually start by grabbing the upper edge just above each vent and pulling toward me. It takes a bit of umph to pop it out.

That was the ticket to ride. Thanks.. Got the glue cleaned off the fan speed post, replaced all 3 lamps with LEDs. Gonna see if I can locate some screws to replace the AWOL ones and rob a knob off the other DC until scamazon delivers..
