I need to identify the running boards on my truck. It’s a 2020 TRD Pro and has all black running boards. The rear end caps are chipping and I need to figure out what way to go. If I can replace the caps I’ll do that, otherwise it might be a good time to just remove or replace the boards.

I’m in Indiana, but the Truck is from Oklahoma.

I was going to say if you're close to the PNW, you're welcome to take a look at the ones I pulled off my '21 and see if they'd work for you...

They do, and I think there are ones that are Toyota OE like that. However, I don't think the ones they hung on my '21 Pro were as I couldn't find a single OE part #, label, etc.. anywhere on them. The satin/black ones on my '08 have Toyota part#s and Toyota badging on the steps...

I think some of what got thrown on these later Gen 2.5s may not have been OE toyota parts :notsure:

I believe the Toyota part numbers are 20315192 and 20315191. I might be wrong, but I think they were made for Toyota by Westin.

Rather than start a new thread on the ID of running boards I thought I'd just add to this one. A FB marketplace has a set for a 2014 CM and I have a 2021 CM. Will these older running boards fit my newer model and can anyone identify these? Price is $75.Screenshot_20250404-172901.png

Yes, the 2014 will line up and work for a 2021...

That being said, those are probably not OE Toyota running boards (if that matters to you)... I have those exact boards on my '08, and the black 'step' are stamped w/Toyota's insignia. In my experience, many of these aftermarket boards rust easier and simply are not the same quality as the older OE Toyota products. But, $75 isn't bad, and those appear to be in good shape. If you're somewhere that does have rust issues, just use a coating on the brackets and underside of the boards and you should be fine.

Finally, if you flip them upside down or have the seller do that, you'll be able to see a Toyota part# if they are OE...

Thanks for the reply and good information. The seller states they are stainless. Talked it over with my wife and she doesn't think it will help her in any appreciable way getting in or out of the Tundra so I'm going to pass on the running boards. BTW, they are in Newark Ohio if anyone is interested.
