West coast discrimination! I ordered on the 4th of March and nothing so far. They just replied to my inquiry today saying soon and they have a backlog of 10 motor orders. EEESH I’m sure they’ll be even more inundated after this current sale

I also ordered more than just the fan, so perhaps that helps

Same thing happened w/the chalk bag mod....

The mfr (a small business owner) was receiving a $hit ton of orders for these things all of the sudden and couldn't figure it out.

She later learned it was connected to this and a couple of other truck forums

I ordered mine March 7th, and received mine March 29th. I was told I was 17th in line from Fred Anderson. Super easy swap and made a noticeable difference!

Just ordered mine. It'll probably be a while before I get it but plenty of time before summer.

Edit. I guess I'm 14 in line as of an hour ago.

    Ordered. I guess I’m number 13.

Good morning, i am contacting you to inform you that the blower motor your ordered will have a delay in when we will receive it due to us only being able to order 1 blower motor a day from Toyota. We currently have a lot of orders ahead of you and you are number 13 in the line of orders. Thank you!

I didn't need this but was caught in a moment of weakness. Since you guys constipated the system ordering all the 87103-60560, I saved a dollar and tried 87103-60481. We'll see what happens!

    Many on the way.
The 87103-60481 should improve delivery time. It might even be a better unit as Toyota tends to cut costs every generation, but until we open both up, that is speculation.

Ordered from Fred, been happy with their service in the past, and actually bought a 4runner from them in 2016 when I was living in Raleigh still. My OEM unit is so loud I can't run it on high or else it drives me insane. The noise difference is what I am most excited for.

    To install:
    Heated wheel
    Dual USB-C from the Prius
    Black radio surround
    Blower Fan

Once everything comes in, and it gets above 40 degrees, I'll have at it, should be able to do it all in a day as the wheel is the only part I am anxious about.

I had no idea these trucks had this blower motor issue. Mine is quiet, and air flow is nothing by comparison to my 94 hilux. I guess i'll screenshot the part numbers, and save for a rainy day

    Thanks fellas

Yeah, I am 6'6" 245lbs of not very flexible. At several points I found myself in the limbo position with my arms jammed in that tight space over my head trying to unhook the wire harness or playing with the three screws. It was a good leg workout (thankfully they were in the ground)

BTW, it was a really nice improvement for my truck. I knew my old motor was sounding rough, but I had no idea it would be that much better

Yeah I feel you, I'm not as tall but not flexible either. I end up balancing upside down on my slider when I'm under the dash lol

I ended up unbolting the passenger seat and just moving it back to have a bit more space when I installed mine. I read about needing to do some pretty insane body bends to get in there. It's real easy to remove the seat

Shipped next day! I didn't even get a number in line! I was telling my automotive buddies and they all agreed that the newer part is probably equivalent, just from a lower cost supplier.

Arrived already. Installed in 5 minutes. The plug is oriented differently but the harness easily reaches. Its slightly quieter at mid and high speeds, and has a "different" sound at low speeds. I don't notice a difference in airflow at first non-scientific test. I feel kinda duped, but also like I own a little bit more of a land cruiser. Thanks tundra forums!

Instead of running the fan at speed 2 before now i ran it at speed 1. Same temp setting. So yes, it’s definitely push more air. To me that is. Worth it.
