Now is this with the stock suspension height, or leveled/lifted?

I've got 285/75 18s on (essentially a 35" tire), but only 11" wide. I've not had any rubbing.

thanks for the reply, super helpful.
fwiw the 35x12.5x20 BFG KO2 don't rub the wheel wells (mud flaps removed) on the 20" TRD Wheels, but there is that small amount of contact with the sway bar at full lock. (I think 35x11.5x20 wouldn't have rubbed at all)

awesome additional benefit of not needing the drop brackets with the TRD sway bar! like you mentioned use of normal skid plates, and also should then allow for installing OEM Toyota recovery hooks in combo with the 3" TRD lift

Good point! Another added benefit of this swap.

The dealer installed the sway bar. It previously had the drop brackets when it was the stock sway bar. I can only assume the drop brackets are what's required to fix the geometry of the stock sway bar with the TRD 3" lift. And so, I again assume the drop brackets are not required for the TRD sway bar to match the geometry of the TRD 3" lift. Which allows the TRD skid plate to fit as intended. As if the TRD sway bar, TRD 3" lift, and TRD skid plate were designed in one way or another to work together. Where that leaves the suspension system on the TRD Pro in terms of design priority and end state, I don't know.

On the other hand, my dealership could have just installed the wrong sway bar brackets and my assumptions are all wrong, lol. I make no claims on being some sort of expert.

It is an oem sequoia replacement. I don't mind the overlays but I want to do it right.

This came out great! I tried that on mine first but didn’t get a good coating or something went wrong. Plastidip was what I did for my Tacoma emblems and it turned out well. Think I rushed this one.

Let us know how you like those. They're on my short list for tires this summer.

Thanks! I am happy with the texture and finish.

I popped it on before I left for work this morning. Hopefully it still looks good after day one in the wild.

And then I bought a moving blanket to protect the bedrug. Maybe later I will add a tarp to protect the blanket that protects the bedrug. Is it that I'm exaggerating a little?.

I just checked mine and I am at about 1.5". Could go higher I suppose but then my rake would be too much.

Do you have the standard bed? Or the optional spray in bed liner?

I’m looking at adding this and I have the regular plastic bed

I was back and forth. A lot of reviews that the TRD drop ins were just as good. Which, I’m sure they are comparable. I grabbed the AFE intakes anyway. Tossed them on in about 30 minutes. Ehhh. I like them but, reviews were probably accurate. If you’re looking for “noise” don’t expect anything out of these. Performance wise, I’ll see how it goes. Nice product, excellent fitment, cosmetically appealing… anybody else have them?

I’m surprised you’re bottoming out with a 1.5” gap. With normal road driving I don’t see how the airbag would compress over 1.5” on bumps.

That's a clean engine! I cleaned mine off tonight because I keep getting damn rats lol.

I prefer the S&B, but basically the same idea.

    I don't think I'm bottoming out, I just think it's stiff maybe.
